Read post 485 (Danny's post immediately after yours) and explain how Str8 Shots yielded to TAR when Danny says "match on" but tells JCIN "Good luck?"
So basically everything you said in your post wasn't factual --- in order for that to occur, Kim had to be side-negotiating w/ Danny the entire time for him to agree to your terms and Kim's terms. That side-negotiating (residuals, etc.) is what contaminated TAR's free-roll offer, that you said Str8 Shots yielded to.

If I were Justin, I'd make a public service announcement that any Str8 Shots-sponsored players are perma-banned from TAR moving forward. That'd be my insta-next-move. I think JS made a mistake w/ these guys... I hope he can find sponsorship elsewhere because these guys are no good.

I think your recent diatribes are way over the top, but that is my interpretation.
I never said you were illiterate, trolling or stupid.
I'm not sure why you're so upset by all this. Is it your loyalty to TAR/JCIN that has you so up in arms about it? I'm not sure how it affects you in a way that gets you this angry, I guess.
I'm looking at it as a new company entering the pool world that might help attract more youth into playing pool competitively. That is a good thing, and that is how I am seeing it. The woman put her phone number out there and said if anybody has concerns or questions to call her. She couldn't be more accommodating.
The match between John and Danny is always going to be a contentious one. We all know that. The owner of Str8-Shots is trying to work with others in the industry, reaching out to them, talking to them on the phone, paying them for loss of income, and posting on AzBilliards in an effort to answer questions. If it was the Pope himself replying instead of her, his replies would still be unsatisfactory.
Don't think anyone really knows. Hey how come Kim is telling Danny they can match up in 2014

But maybe not. This is what I read in the 2nd 'clarification post' from Str8 Shots.
• The TAR match format, as written by JCIN, was not acceptible to the players.
They had hangups about the length, games, rules, etc.
Kimberly's interpretation of this is that the match was "off the table".
JCIN's words were something like "I'm not looking to get into a long complicated negotiation."
So basically, Kimberly's thinking was "if a rubber match happens, it won't be with TAR.
TAR said they aren't interested except under the conditions JCIN stated."
• She then sort of jumped the gun and went out of her way to say "Str8 Shots will not put up
the appearance money to make this match happen either, because we're trying to maintain a certain image".
Nobody really suggested that if TAR wasn't happening, Str8-Shots should pay to make it happen instead.
At least not publicly.
But for some reason Kimberly felt compelled to 'defend' her decision not to make
some alternate TAR-like match happen with Str8 Shots' money. Even though nobody asked her to do that.
• Her last comment indicated that if the players could agree to the format, and if JCIN was willing
to deal with the resulting negotiation hassles, she still couldn't give John their 'blessing'.
She was warning him (publicly and privately) that while he's free to play in any event he wants,
if he gets involved in something tacky, he could lose his contract with them.
The bottom line of the post is that her player has been strongly advised not to do this, and it's unlikely
to happen anyway since they can't agree on format... but technically, it can still happen.
If it does, it better go smoothly or John's out of a sponsor.

No MY post is factual. I have tried to call Danny to make sure he was clear on this. Dtr8-shots will not be producing this match. I think that Danny is thinking about our original offer that was going to take place in 2014. When we backed out of the deal that is when Str8-shots felt bad and decided to compensate them anyway. Think about it, Why would Str8-shots compensate them for a match that we were going to do? See what I mean.
So in short we have no intention of doing this event. I can't be any clearer.

The only thing Str8 Shots did was halt TAR's offer and then talk Danny into playing for them instead of TAR. I read that as being slimy...which is why I chirped.

Jayson Shaw is house pro at Steinway with Earl. He is from Scotland and has been hitting 'em strong here in the States. Darren Appleton said Jayson is going to be the next Super Star in pool, and coming from Darren, that's pretty strong. He came in third at the recent Open.
Eleanor Callado is a up-and-comping lady pro. I think she shoots out of Texas, but that's subject to check.
How can you read the op and conclude that Kimberly was not aware of any other matches at the time other than the one YOU were working on?
How can you read the op and say that the contract was not being used to put a stop to the match taking place elsewhere?
I have little doubt that you guys have now decided not to do the match, and who could blame you at this point but I also don't feel Str8shots has shot us straight during this ordeal.
