NO Match for Harriman/Schmidt

My dog LIVES for playing catch in the backyard! He pulls all sorts of moves to get me to go out there. We usually play at least once a day but if it was his way it would be all day!

This is the only DOG I have in the fight! The epic battle of Harriman and Schmidt.

Eleanor is from California, was house pro at Broken Rack in Emeryville. I haven't been there in a while so this may have changed.

And from everything I have seen of her, she is highly professional and would represent any organization well.

We have one of those tennis ball chuckers. Mickey LOVES it. He runs faster than a thoroughbred racehorse going after it. You should see him go! :cool:

You know, I thought I wrote an article about her in a Vegas college campus billiard club a few years ago. I'm pretty sure it was her. I'm going to have to go dig it up and post it. It was cool billiard club. She does seem like quite the professional. :smile:

I told him that and so did Kimberly. That was at the begining of talks to make it happen. Again, not sure where the confusion is on Danny's end. That's why Kimberly offered to compensate him because we were not going to do the match. Like I said I have a couple of calls in to Danny to clarify that Str8-shots are not doing the match.

We know Mark Cantrill started working on this match a couple of days ago and that he has spoken to both players. We were informed last night by Mark Cantrill that both players had agreed verbally with him to do the match. When Mark Cantrill set about putting this match together, he really had no idea that the level of hostility that existed between the two players was so intense. It did not become apparent until late yesterday afternoon. At that time that he contacted us and shared what he had learned.

Marc and I spent several hours last night and again this afternoon discussing this match. A few minutes ago we had a conference call with both Mark Cantrill and John Schmidt. During that conversation we explained to John Schmidt, who is a Str8 Shots signed player that we did not feel this match was in line with the direction that Str8 Shots intends to take the players, the team, or the company. We understand why this match is such a hot topic and why it would be an exceptional PPV event. The reasons that make this match so attractive to those that would buy it, are the very reasons we feel it is not in John’s best interest.

We chose several professional players to be a part of team Str8 Shots because they are all great people. Every one of them has a contract with us. In that contract it states that they will get permission from Str8 Shots management before engaging in activities, or aligning themselves, with individuals or activities that could be potentially harmful to their images, the company’s image, or the industry’s image.

When we plan matches, we have a purpose for them above and beyond providing the players with opportunities to test their skills or generate some additional income. Our opinion is that this match only serves to create additional animosity between these players and that is not what we want for any player; whether they are associated with this company or not.

We understand that both offers made to the men provided them with the potential to make several thousand dollars. We are also aware that the money to be made off of this PPV match by Str8 Shots or TAR could be quite substantial. That being said, we have asked John Schmidt NOT to do this match. John Schmidt will be compensated by Str8 Shots for the potential loss of income. He has generously offered to donate a portion of those monies to the Str8 Shots Juniors program.

People need to read this again if they think Kim was unaware of Tar's offer.
 
So anyone paying attention knew about the TAR offer for the match. Not sure anyone knew about the str8shots offer until the OP. So why would Kim make the original post in reference to killing the match str8shots was working behind the scenes, when no one even knew about it?

Makes no sense to me.

But why was it decided it was ok in 2014 and not now?

I'm still trying to figure out the plot of what happened. I went from lambasting Str8 Shots, deciphering Mark's post to infer that it's all a huge misunderstanding and miscommunication, made a 1-page post to make sense of it and apologize, and then realizing it couldn't have been a misunderstanding so I erased my post.

This is so complicated, I'm not sure I could make a cartoon yet. The plot is still writing itself.
 
I don't believe any group of people in Hollywood or those buried in their underground bunkers could have came up with half as many conspiracy theories as 99% of you on this thread. A few of seem to make your own reality or think it's reality :rolleyes:

Someone should write a book...fiction of course

I don't think there are conspiracy theories -- there's poor communication and disorganization and misdirection on behalf of Str8 Shots that lead to people wondering if they're slimy or not.
