Why no buzz over TAR 37???

Maybe the Iverson shooter sleeves will help.

Freddie <~~~ wants to see Corey smash the break

Corey gets out after his best soft break, then tries to steal a game on the scoreboard but accidentally scores an extra game for Shane, too. 15-11, 15-12, 16-12, 16-11, and back to 15-11

Freddie <~~~ accidentally that is

Seemed like a long intermission when I realized my stream had frozen. Refreshed just in time to watch Corey soft break rack 31, down 18-12.

I've heard twice now Cotton has made sure no one wastes their time/money watching the nine ball set tomorrow because that game is a joke.

He really said that? Great publicity for the match :(

I am planning on watching that match tomorrow. I was hoping to make it to Vegas for this match to be in the studio, but got too busy so I'll have to watch the stream. I think it should be a good match. I hope the 9 ball will be racked on the spot to make it more challenging on the break.

He is trying so hard to compliment the eight ball outs that he will shame nine ball to do it. What he doesn't realize is that everyone listening has already paid for the 8 ball and they haven't necessarily paid for the nine ball yet.

8-ball is representing itself nicely tonight.

It is quite amazing how much the game can differ. When Shane played Dennis O in 8-ball Dennis never missed a single ball and never played safe and SVB won the match running huge packages. And that was on the tight rails.

Tonight the outs are alot tougher, even when SVB breaks, and the game is showing that sometimes when the balls don't open up the game can really test the pros.

Shane apoplectic that Corey continues to break them like my 7 year old cousin and makes the 1 in the side.

There do seem to be a lot more clusters tonight. I wonder if that is due to not using the magic rack. If so I think they should abandon it for 8 ball.

They are referencing the amount of thought required in terms of patrerns etc in 8 vs 9 ball. They aren't incorrect. Ball by number isn't exactly the biggest mental test. I seriously doubt anyone is dissuaded from buying tomorrow's match just because of that.

Yes, MR not being here is one reason on Shane's break but Corey is super soft breaking as well. Corey's break is helping to keep Shane's free firing style at bay and disrupting that package flow. But in the end, they're both running out like pros do in 8-ball. Not too many safeties, but more than the wide open Shane vs Dennis match.

You're right Freddie. The runouts are still there, but they have been much more tricky than in recent 8 ball matchups. In a word it's been awesome.
