WTF! Am I SOL?

Buy my Simonis DVDs and do the work yourself...you'll do a much better job on your own. As for the rest of the tips on how to make the table play better...call me when you have the DVDs and I'll walk you through the rest of the work on the phone.

Go to the main AZB page, at the top right over SVB head in the picture is the AZBmarket place, click on that tab and that'll take you to the Seyberts web site. They've for sale there.

Take the rails off and lift the slate out, the locks are right there within your reach, take them off from the inside if you don't want to drill them out.
 
Went ahead and took it all apart like you said. Left the locks on for now, but took the carriage off so the balls drop all the way.

Holy $hit that slate is a pain in the @$$ to take off by yourself, by I got it done! Thank god I can at least play without having to drop the rack everytime I scratch now.

On a Valley....I can take the slate out by myself, no problem, as well as put it in by myself...no special lift either:grin:

We put ridgebacks on our Valley and must say it is the way to go. Ridgeback rails, simonis 860 and New set of Aramith balls and you cant go wrong on a Valley. This is the best combo for a valley, plays great.

I cut a 2x4 in half, lifted one end of the slate, slid a 2x under the state across the rails the short way. Then went to the other side and did the same thing.

Idk if it was the best way to do it, but it worked. But it also sucked lol

Ridgebacks will definitely be my next upgrade. Unfortunately my 3 year old Xmas presents get 1st dibs on my money so I think I'll have to wait a bit.

Somewhat knew him. He used to come in the bar I used to manage when we had tourney's. So foolishly when he got there I just gave him the money, not imaging something like this would happen.

Looks like this one gets chalked up as a lesson in stupid tax.
 
May as well throw out my 2 Cents worth..My Dad owned a Dry Cleaners most of his life--died when I was young,,but I remember a lessen when getting some grease on my Kaki's before taking off to what ever it was--He grabbed a can of Brake Cleaner and sprayed the Kaki's from the inside and the greese came out clean--no residue and spotless and dry in just a few minuites.. I remember that he told me the Cleaner was the same thing he used in the dry cleaning Biz--have used it many times since and has worked well for me over the years..Now with that said--I don't think you have a chance in you know where of getting that glue stain out after it's set up,,and the only way there is a chance is if you can remove the cloth and spray through it--then it would be hell getting the cloth restretched and layed back down--I'm sure he has already cut the sides off where one would pull from--

Buddy...I could live with the glue stain....but the rest of his work makes that glue stain look like a touch of GOLD when you compare it overall against the rest of the look of the table:D
