a new case, preflag chalk and a pool book

you must guess only valid honest reasons that an honest seller would use to sell his merchandise ,but does not post pics

he can't take pics or post them is true but does not win the free stuff

PS no pics will be posted of the free stuff

have some fun and remember 1 lucky stiff wins free stuff

complainers can complain but they can not win this free stuff

i gave you my reason one post up...

No camera to take pictures with or doesn't know how to upload pictures. I also answered on the other thread.

tattoo
please post your reason here
i don't want to have to look it up

i am going to let the thread run and review it in the morning so we can have fun and see how many reasons there really are

GTP
these are true reasons, both of them
both are good reasons but read the post
i stated that those 2 reasons don't win

Because A - you don't feel like it and B - it's funny to see people get their panties in a knot because you won't post any?

To see if people are trusting of a Seller and willing to believe the description is as good as the cue really is.

Because altho your wife is very computer literate, you're not, and you don't want her to do it for you.

That is, until she lets you buy that Harley that you've always wanted.

Pretty sure you actually told me on the phone one time Dean but danged if I can remember that far back. Wish I did remember now.

You gotta go with the answers in the other thread, I was on a roll!!!

Fine, well here is a picture of my light display this year. It hits a ton, is slightly used but in mint condition with some bumps and bruises, is straight with a taper roll and slight tip elevation at the joint, and is no closet queen. Straight up player y'all.

Or how about a boxing boxer?

Or one of our cats in a bowl?

As the saying goes "a picture is worth a thousand words"

However in deano's case "no picture is worth a thousand dollars", to the benefit of deano's last buyer anyways. That is one beautiful Owen he let go.

.....LOL I guess I was reading the other thread and posted in this one......I will take my sign and sit in the corner now.....

Here goes..........

Your Itrader is a perfect 155/100% and you can be expected to deliver over what is described for sale. The buyer has the option of sending the item back if not satisfied with the purchase for a refund.

Another reason would be that the item is not present at the time of listing. I often sell cues for a good friend that is an hour drive one way from me and he will call me up when he gets something in he wants me to list. With work and his business hours, it is tuff to get pictures all of the time.

A picture is worth a thousand words but a thousand words tell much more of the truth then a picture when it comes to what I gather is a top notch seller. If I could afford the caliber of cues he sells I'd buy with out a picture any day from a highly regarded seller.

because you are old-school and come from a time when a man's word was his bond and you want to preserve that way of thinking and conducting business.

best,
brian kc

i am not posting on here with the intention of trying to win anything....just want to give my opinion.

i don't know anything about you except what i have read on here...mostly good by the way.

i may be way off base but i think the main reason you don't post pics is that you are old school like i am. i am not speaking technology wise but about the old days.

the old days when a mans word meant something.

the old days when deals were made with a handshake.

the old days when a man took pride in how he presented himself . '

'' '' when a mans reputation meant everything to him.

'' '' when a man stood fast for his principles no matter what the so called popular opinion may have been.

it could be any and all of the above reasons and ....then i may be entirely wrong but i don't think so.

btw ... if i happen to be right and you choose my reasons there is a poster on here that is always talking about his son playing in the jr leagues.... you could give him the prize on my behalf. i think the poster goes by hang the 9 ?

being up in age myself i would rather see a young player get a book that may inspire him more to continue on his path to play better.

reason

I believe your word is your word .trust or dont. You have earned that rep.

Because you explain what you're offering to a T, and the condition it's in.

You also explain (I am Guessing) that they can return it if not completely
satisfied for a full refund.

The most important thing I would think is the cue will always seem better
in person when they get it, than what they imagined as you described it
I would think.

There's more of a person to person experience doing things the way you do
which is something experienced less and less these days !

You give more value for the money.

Last but not least the cue will never look the same in person as in a picture.

You think a cue is more about the feel you get in person and that way it looks in person rather than some picture

All the speculation about being old school or a man of his word is poetic but it makes no sense as an explanation of why pictures are omitted. I'm guessing its a simple low hurdle set up to weed out the tire kickers. Force people to send an email or pick up a phone and you assume you'll deal with mostly people with actual interest.
That being said, its still just offputting to me. You'll never know if you weed out more lazy tire kickers than you lose serious buyers who don't like head games.
