I have not been able to catch the whole match but I have caught enough that I am pretty positive there has been no 5 pack yet. Dennis did a 4 pack very early in the match but he played a safe off the break to stop that run when he bunted his solid into a stripe in the jaws.

You might not get 8-ball. The strategy in 8-ball is in the patterns. There has been a ton of thought and process in the match thus far by both players and they have been forced into some fairly tricky positions.
That said, this is "not" the proper table conditions for pro 8-ball, as I have said time and time again.
Dennis is up 17-12. He just made a sick two-rail kick to pocket the 8 ball after Darren played safe.
I didn't like Daz's safe there. He should have laid whitey right up against the 14. He gave DO an ultra slim chance and Dennis made him pay for it.

I thought it was a 5 pack. Dennis was lights out early in the match, it must of been a dry break 4 pack because it was 1-1 then all a sudden 6-1 dennis. The 5 pack is still a possibility. Lenny have faith
There was no 5 pack.
Dennis won the game to get to 1-1, then he ran 4 to get to 5-1, then on the next game he broke and got a tough layout and played his 3-ball into a jawed stripe to block the pocket. He won that game to get to 6-1 and then broke and ran the next 3 to get up 9-1.
I am betting neither doesn't do 5.

That 2 rail kick by Dennis to cut that 8 ball in was one of the sickest shots I've ever seen. There have been some very tricky layouts and the players are working hard to run out. I'm really digging this.

I made the same bet.
ATM I don't think Darren is breaking good enough to run a 5 pack and I don't think Dennis is shooting good enough to do it anymore.
My big worry atm is whether Dennis can hold it together enough to win this thing, he is missing some fairly easy shots and looks very pressured up. Never seen Dennis look this nervous.

Currently dennis leads 25-21. This has been an enjoyable but long match. I think a shot clock would help.
