Lou wants more

Not sure if some on here don't know about the deep shelf but it makes a huge difference. I must say this match has been very entertaining ,hate too see either one of you lose. Good luck to both of you today.

How is it cut deep? It's a GC3, not a Diamond table...

lol

I don't quite get something about you, John. You obviously care about improving your game, and you've obviously put the work in leading into this match, travelling around, taking lessons, etc. Why oh why haven't you fixed that stroke of yours?

If you put even half as much effort into that as you do into aiming (of all things), you'd be a better player for it.

I have a good stroke. But under pressure old habits show up.

Why would john want to raise the bet anyways? hes down 8-6 race to 9? That would be a bonehead move!

If you practice bad habits - you will have bad habits. Even when you were hitting balls as Lou took a break, you were flailing at them.

There is no way you used CTE aiming on any shot you took last night because you didn't look at any shot for over .75 seconds before firing away.

And not sure what you learned or what you thought you learned from playing all these people the past couple of months but you missed many opportunities on simple shots. If your execution was more thought out, you would improve by at least a ball. However you moved around the stack like a bull in a china shop.

One other thing that nobody's mentioned yet - for the first two games where John played horribly, he had a guy who had just threatened him standing over his shoulder trying to intimidate him. After they kicked that guy out, the score was 6-6 for the rest of the match. I think those two games made the matchup look a little different than it actually is, because they're actually pretty even when John's not being sharked.

Who would do that? does anyone know who it was?

JB, when you were good last night it was when you thought you were no good... because you'd play more conservatively and put all the pressure on Lou. The pressure was getting to Lou.

Remember to take breaks when you need it, and cut it with the aggressive play. You're like 1-2 mistakes away from losing this thing. You need to play to not lose it, not play to win it.

There are sick people in this world. Apparently Eric threatened JB too, before the match started.

That's messed up. It sounds like this may have influenced the outcome of at least a rack or two. If so, that's too bad. It's also too bad that Lou would choose to team up with these guys (if that turns out to be the case).

Lou does seem to be a respectable guy, but the problem revolves around the quote, "You are who you hang around with."

All those idiots' decisions reflect upon Lou.

Lou brought two of the beneficiaries of the unfair moderation with him. Eric Hu who has never been banned for his harassment of anyone and Mike LaLumiere who got away with defamation for years on AZB.

I'm not sure what Eric's or Mike's presence has to do with anything. Especially since you had Eric removed before the match even started.

But I do have a question... I'm being told by someone in attendance that you were being coached from the rail during the entire match by a VERY strong 1 pocket player. Is this true?

To be fair to John, from what I've heard it seems this Eric was only removed two games in.

That is possible. I was watching the stream and I know there was an off camera scuffle during Jen Barretta's match. I was under the impression this scuffle was that very issue. But I wasn't there.

I am curious about the rail coaching though as I heard this directly from several people who WERE there.

To set the matter straight: No, you do not have a "good" stroke. It is deficient in most crucial aspects. Specifically, your stance is poor, you steer the ball, you "sweep" the ball trying to get English, your follow through is criminal, you jump up, you rush every short, your transfer from back swing to stroke is jerky, your head is cocked, and that's just for starters. Do we all have issues with our strokes? Yes. Do we run our mouth, play seasoned one holders EVEN for 10k, hire Accustats to film us get trounced and generally look like a yammering novice? No.

Though the logic is perhaps a bit flawed, I hope your devoted but misguided fan base will now brighten up after seeing you are all bark and no bite. Face it - you don't know what you're talking about 90% of the time.

I mean, I'm sure most people figured you were just another annoying personality who could nonetheless play. Now they see you are just annoying (and delusional and attention-starved.) Stick to what you know - making imported cue cases.

Sometimes being on the hill is a lot of pressure. But kudos to Lou. He is playing solid one hole and staying extremely calm outwardly. Whatever zen thing he has going on in his head is working. I have learned some new shots from him as well.

All I can say at this point is if I pull out the win then I will flip it to go again if they want to.

I've never met you and have nothing against you but after watching you on the stream you are not a good enough player to be gambling that high unless you are extremely wealthy and $10.000 dollars isn't serious cash for you.

Not trying to make you feel bad, just stating the obvious.

Come on!!! Did his shot selection LOOK like it came from a reasonable brain? At any rate,
I'm sure Lou's side would have not allowed to this. If so, it would have been stipulated beforehand and the sweaters would have reported this.
