The Ballad of John and Lou, Part Two

Personally I think John let a golden opportunity slip through his fingers towards the end of the Part Three thread. To me it looked like many were prepped to forgive him if he could have just shown the smallest sign of introspection and responsibility.

I am sure you are correct here, but this reminds me that I wish you had taken up John on his offer right after your match, to hook you up with Stan. That would have cemented your place in AZ Hall of Fame. Or something.

Congratulations on the big win. I thoroughly enjoyed your story.

Ouch. That means Lou'd "be dead" and his screenname would appear in all red?

Agreed on the congratulations part, and also that Lou has a way of making you feel right there in his accounts.

Great suggest, KK.

Lou, you'll get used to Tech Two. It's a little easier on the eyes than the intense contrasts of the other motifs.

P.S.: at least the threads are still around and not truly "whacked."

-Sean

Right... but what I don't understand, Sean, is why Mike didn't just tell John, privately or publicly, to stay out of my threads and if he had something to say to write up his own version of events.

End of problem, a much more elegant solution, and a fix that would have kept my threads -- and the story I took the time to write and contribute -- open for further comment.

Thanks, Courtney.

I think passing on the Stan offer was the right way to go. If I'd agreed to that, and written about it, there's no doubt in my mind that there'd be new Banned Camp members left and right :-) Passing was actually in the general interests of keeping peace in the valley. Nothing good would have come from taking the other path.

I said I probably wouldn't want to play again. Who knows, catch me on a good day and all that :-) In any case, please stop with all the "as much money as I could bring" baloney. We've been down that road with you and it's a dead end.

Lou Figueroa

Really. Did we play for10,000 or not?

That is as much as I wanted to play for on the day we played. I am sorry for you that your backer did not accept my earlier offers to double the bet and post the whole 20k. Sucks for you.

Well if you will play when I am ready to ask then great. If not then it is what I expected going in so no bog deal there.

Eric wanted to watch the match. John could have easily ignored him, as Eric was ignoring him, before John started in on him.

Lou Figueroa

Easily is relative. Two guys were there who have tried to physically harm me and my business. Both have acted like terrorists with their threats.

You're lucky I played at all.

You think I am the problem? Your cronies to use your words are the problem. You don't own threads Lou. You are posting on a public message board. Your supporters used these threads to bash me. Sorry but your story as well written as it was does not confer the right to bash without rebuttal.

Only because of your attitude. How you can profess to love pool and write the paragraph above is hypocritical.

After all this you could have been enough of a human to try for peace.

Wouldn't be any problem at all. What you have now is at best is tenuous cease fire. It would not be any issue what so ever to spend time with Stan and understand each other as humans and pool players.

Cronies? How many threads did you create in the months before the match? Every single one of them was an effort to stir the pot. How many people did you attack and bully for questioning cte? You even uploaded a youtube rant cursing and insulting him. Yet, here you are claiming to be a victim. Do yourself a favor and go away. Every time you complain about the heat, you're the one that turned up the thermostat.

I will reiterate. You tried to high-roll or insult anyone who disagreed with you. You made thread after thread insulting Lou and anyone supporting him. Lou finally posted up his story afterwards and suddenly you're crying about it.

You don't see the problem?

it's funny how a guy has a match w his online nemesis and a 2nd online nemesis is there staking said match and a 3rd online nemesis is also there watching and almost gets into a fight w the guy b4 the match even starts yet the guy still comes on here and blames every1 else for the pointless drama?

If its pointless why were they there?

Um I responded to the challenge. None of this would have come to this point if I had not stood up to bullies.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! Bingo. Tech Two. It's kinda dark though...

Of course now I don't need it anyway since all my threads have been whacked :-)

Thanks though, KK.

I use the bottom most VBulletin option (AZ Vb3), the colors pop nicely; easy on the eyes. It does not allow for multi quotung though, so when I feel the need to multi quote more than one baboon ;), I quickly click on tech 2 and post, then switch back.

I hope this installment of the war at New Yor does not get locked. I wish for Christmas that some mature restraint can be exhibited. Ah hell, I'm wasting my ink...

maybe that's your opinion but for others perhaps the v20 pops even nicer. have you ever considered that?

can't you just say "in my opinion" the colors pop nicely?

that way, we might avoid *what we could consider* an inferior experience.

this is the last remaining arguing thread on az, right?

best,
brian <--- glad to get something in b4 lockdown

KK9 has a PERFECT RIGHT to choose and express his opinion on the form he uses.

Why are you trying to silence him?

HUH ?

Kevin

LOCKDOWN !!!!!!!

In consideration of Pink lady and kk9's impending personal loss I declare a cease fire and an end to the whack-a-mole game.

Again, Lou, well played.
