I messaged him letting him know the money is ready to post and he replied back that he didnt know how to post the money and had never bet online before. I told him how it works and that my money was ready to post and i havent heard anything back from him. He replied within minutes to my first message, now its been over an hour and no reply.
 
There's still plenty of time before this kicks off to post up. I would give a little leeway if he had never posted up via online means before. He might just be busy, or if over in Europe, sleeping. Good to see some action on this, and looking forward to a great match.

Fwiw, I think Shane is a favorite here, though it could very well be a nail biter; I've heard nothing but good things about Niko... Playing wise and etiquette wise.

SVB will probably also play at the 9ball tournament which will take place there the days before the challenge
(Souquet confirmed among the participants, don't know who else)

So he won't be totally unfamiliar with the table and other conditions by the 28th

No I didn't say that. What I'm saying is magic rack and diamond table with somewhat newer cloth is where nobody has a chance to beat Shane in a race to 50. He is way better than everyone else at making a ball on the break and getting a shot with those conditions.
 
Somebody needs to remind Shane to get out of the pool room and see some of what Greece has to offer. The place is steeped in history and I can personally assure him that Pelion is breath taking.

Oh, you guys want to talk about gambling on a pool match. Sorry...��

Got you Donny, I agree w/ you,Nikos told me exactly the same thing last year @ the USO.
This match though is on a GC4 not fast cloth, I except a very close match,on Niko's home court.

We'll my friend if you need to know,I was out for a few hours begging for the money good news I managed to collect $5000, you told me how it works in the PM you make it sound very simple we'll is not simple to me You don't know me and I don't know you,the bet is fairly high might be illegal and I'm not taking any chances. Also I will like to keep our dealings private, and if we can somehow arrange to make this wager happen in a safe winner gets paid no matter what way, and I refuse to post the cash you can publicly call me whatever you want

Of course he's playing it on a GC with slow cloth, otherwise he doesn't get to 35. He's still gonna get horsef$&@ed though.

Lol, imagine that. I don't blame you for backing out of the bet though. I wouldn't bet against Shane in a lengthy set unless I was mad at my money. Textbook welch though, kudos
 
Just adding a bit of info, it will be on GCIV with regular pockets, Simonis 860 cloth installed a few days before the tournament in which Shane will be playing.
I believe it's gonna be a tough match.

It doesn't seem like he's backing out and his concerns are def realistic especially if it's his first time posting via escrow or whatever. I'd be cautious too.

Looks like the Greeks like to give action and have class, so let's do the same for them.

You my friend corvette have action w/ me for what ever you want,obviously you wear the SVB blinders too,wake up there are players in the rest of the world who are just as good or better than Shane what has Shane, achieved outside the friendly confines of the USA

Posting the cash with a third party is the only safe winner gets paid no matter what way

No my friend, I'm afraid it's people who think that Shane can't play outside the US that wear the blinders. If the pockets are cut at 4.75" (standard gold crown). It's possible that it will be a little closer, but I doubt it with winner breaks...

Shane still wins over seas in individual matchups. The only thing he's had problems with, if by problems you mean he doesn't horse%$ck everyone he plays, is on super loose foreign equipment with short race formats that become single elimination.

He is still the best in long race formats because of his BNR percentages...
