Best hitting cue you ever played with.

Gene Hackman's Palmer is best hitting cue.That's what I was told and what I felt when I tried it.Has a slight taper roll but that doesn't prevent it to be the best !!!

I have played with cues from $100 all the way past $5000. and as crazy as this may sound the first time I played with a 5280 sneaky pete I fell in the with the cue! now I play with a 5280 rm6 and I love it! I the the radial joint best hit ever!

Makes perfect sense;

''It's all about the wood''. Every piece is so different. There are cues out there of many different brands, shapes and sizes that hit Perfect, just because of Luck of the wood/puzzle. But I figure once the basics of construction are in place, its feel during play is almost entirely from the woods grain structure and the joint. A true shame, is to NOT have one of these cues that actually feels and plays Perfect....In the hands of a pro, but on a shelf somewhere.:(

Darrin Hill 8 pt fullsplice rosewood/birdseye. 3/8 x 10 phenolic joint and 18.75 oz's, a perfect combo IMO.

my maple/ebony full splice 3/4 jointed with hybrid radial laminated shaft that I built myself :p

Black Boar ebony six point with solid purpleheart and ebony veneers, three points were an inch or so taller than the other three, 19.75 oz, 4.2 oz tightly grained 12-3/4 mm shaft, ivory ferrule, 59" total length, .840 at the joint, 1.250 at the butt cap, black linen wrap. Love the way the BB six pointers play.
