He tried to get me to send him my Richard Black over the week end. He stated that once he recieved cue, then he would mail a money order. He said that he was "Koinnkid" from Ebay. Which was a total lie. So yes "beware"
 
Lets get together and nail this piece of sh!t. Does anyone have his address? Anyone contacted the police?

WOW....looks like he going through everyone on AZ. I got an offer from him as well for the Gus that belong to Mark. Tried to email Mark about it but got a bounce back.
But seem like he wants to trade cue that he doesn't own...LOL. When I called him...he was very straight face about it...claiming the Gus was his uncle.

I believe his number was the exact same as the one listed by Stanley.

What cue seller in their right mind would send a cue to someone and allow them to delay payment until after the cue arrives and they inspect it or play with the cue?
Maybe if it's someone you've done business with before and so you truly do trust them but other than that, it seems a little foolhardy to me.

In the half year or so I've been on this forum, I've seen more scam alert threads than I do in about two years on other buy/sell forums I participate in. Frightening.
 
Don't throw the baby out with the bath water. There are plenty of good people still here doing straight up, fair biz deals. It would be a shame to let these low-life scammers win. Always do your homework before embarking on a deal. It's easy to find out who are the good guys, who are not, and who are just brand new on the scene, so ??? Got to be vigilant & check references, folks. :thumbup:

He shot me a message wanting to trade some cues but I was aware of his scam. He said he was a high end cue collector so I offered him a few cues for sale told him they would be super cheap. Go figure he only wanted to trade was not looking to add to the many cues he has. We need to make sure who we do business with here on AZ with a small community of cue enthusiasts I think we can watch each other's back and keep this a safe place.
 
So is this guy Jeremy a scammer? He contacted me yesterday and today about trading a cue for one I have for sale.

This comment is so true, I have met so many great friends here in the short time I have been a part of this forum. On the other hand I have seen a lot of scams. If you ask questions and talk to the members who have been around here for a wile. You will know who is on the up and up. You have to look at what's going on with the economy now you see more and more of this kind of ripoff scams. I have never had a bad deal on here, and I think it's because I only do deals with the members who have a good I-trader. You have to ask questions. If you don't know the person who you plan to do a deal with ask around if your unsure do an escrow deal. All I can tell anybody is WATCH YOUR ASS, and keep your friends close. That's my 2 cents. The real reason to be mad is that it means he thinks you are really fb stupid
 
Same number

I got a text about my predator sport 2 that is listed on here by the same number stating he would trade a cue worth 3x the amount of mine just because he has to many.it screamed scam alert to me.
 
He is still active as a scammer..

He send me an email with a pics of sugartree cue. Small resolution and he cant give more pictures even i requested. Then i remembered those sugartree photos is from AZ only and the cue is not he owned. He never response after saying that I'm dealing thru paypal only for security reason.
