What is it with these wrapless rundes. You are the 4th person in like a week that has pointed out how much they are digging their wrapless Runde.
 
I might buy a wrapped cue that I like to collect and display but all my playing cues have to be wrap less. I just prefer the feeling of my hands on naked skin ....err I mean wood

Ditto.

One of my Larry Vigus cues is also my main player. Growing up and playing for many years with nothing but house cues, I developed a preference for wrapless cues. And, like Allen stated above, you just cannot beat the looks of a beautifully figured wood grip as opposed to looking at the same old boring speckled thread (this is the statement that will get all the pictures of exotic wraps to showing up on this thread :smile:).

My second choice, when not using a wrapless cue, is a stacked leather wrap.

I have 3 wrapless, two Schons one's a CX83, one Lucasi LHF69.
Bet most of the guys on here started playing with a wrapless before they bought a cue.
 
prewarhero, if you get a opportunity to try a wrapless Runde I think you will be impressed. If you do I would love to hear your opinion.
 
I've only been playing for 3 years. I bought my first cue about 2-1/2 years ago. I bought one with a wrap because I figured "with" must be better than "without." I mean anything "-less" means it's not as good, right?

About a year later I was unexpectedly in the pool room so I grabbed a house cue. That's when I realized that I prefer wrapless. Up until then I couldn't figure out why my cue was slipping out of my hand.

My player is an OB121. Sneaky Pete cocobolo and maple. Perfecct cue for me.

Both are fine examples of the 'other' Brazilian woods still available...but maybe not for much longer.

I don't even know what my cue is and from. I've been playing with it for about 10 years already.
