You better keep in mind that the tournament in question is played on tables with huge pockets. Can you find that type of table at the BCAPL tournament? I think not.

I like your gumption I'm an ACS player, and not BCA, so was not planning on attending, but I will come down for this. Thus, I only have a few changes to counter to your proposal.

1) I get the first shot for $1000 to cover my expenses, or cover yours
2) We use Bill Stock to set up the two shots, and then we use the clear plastic tabs to duplicate it for the next 100 turns so Bill can go off and do his thing.
3) Anyone that is playing in the BCAPL is OK to shoot (no grand masters of course)
4) It has to take place the week of the 21st. ( I will be there for Mon thru Wed if we are betting) BCA runs till the 25th. I've got something scheduled for 18th - 20th (son's baseball tournament)

Let it be known, I will pay every BCA player $25 cash to make both shots, with nothing to lose. If they blow it, I have to pay the hundo. Now, there might be a few JB supporters that might dump me, but hey, shit happens. If they wanna toss away $25 so I can lose a hundo, so be it.

I think most guys will want a free shot at the money. However, so as not to appear a greedy SOB, if any BCA player, wants to put up his own money, and wager the $100 himself, I won't stand in his way, but he was to kick me back $25 for the priviledge. Thus, he can win a cool $75 instead of the $25. Fair is Fair

well, to his credit, he showed for the 1P match with Lou, and paid up. That's good enough in my book. But we would both have to post the $1000 for my one shot at the table before I book my flight.... I will bring the rest in cash, and pay off each and every bet as they go, and expect the same in return.

I have no opinion on what Buddy was thinking, I do have an opinion about whether this match "hurt" Pro Pool in any way, shape or form. .....it certainly did not.

The Mirage continued to book pool matches as if nothing ever happened......so there's no reason to believe anything did happen.....unless you like conspiracy theories of course.

Here is my stipulation just to insure that this goes off the right way.

We have to set it up so that no one knows what the shots are before they face them. We set up a camera and tell them that there is $50,000 riding on them running out and they are being watched.

We pull random people into the room and let them shoot it. That way we don't have a line of people who went and practiced the shots beforehand.

There has to be some way to simulate the pressure Buddy was under or it doesn't count. Anyone is likely to make any shot with zero pressure. Getting a $25 free roll is the opposite of pressure IMO.

Figure out a good way to make the shooter feel that pressure and you have action for sure.
