This will give ya an idea how big the Hyacinths are. Pretty impressive beak.

What say, about 1500 lbs per square inch breaking pressure Dave. Any of the bigger birds can peel a Brazil or Walnut like one of us would break open a peanut with our fingers.

Funny, the first time the Grey allowed me to scratch her under her wings. I thought that we were now friends. The owner told me that I am the subservient one and she was
showing her dominance over me by allowing me to groom her.

Five minutes in the deep freezer so she can get a good look at the turkeys and chickens and she will understand who is dominant!

Not all of them are super lovey.

Of the few Cockatoos that I have been around, they seem to be the Clowns of the Parrot Kingdom. Pretty animated, like to spin circles, bounce, dance etc.

Do yours make a lot of noise if they want attention?

Trying to remember back, is the Molocan or the Black Palm the largest of the breed.

The only reason that the person was able to get a nice Grey is because there is a decent breeder within 30 miles of town. They tend to be fairly well socialized when you get one. Otherwise, would have cost a tom more. I saw one at the local pet shop not long ago.

It was seriously stressed. Feather picking and it was almost completely bald. Felt sorry for it but wouldn't pay that kind of money and take a chance on something like that one.

I can attest to the power of a Cockatoos beak. A University student that lived with me, briefly, had an African Grey.

She would often be on the kitchen counter when we were doing something. I have watched her take chunks out of a Tupperware container just like it was made of butter.

Thats not to mention the wood trim around the living room windows or missing pieces of flesh if she was in a bad mood.

I imagine that guy was giving the Cockatoo a taste of MJ. You should have seen the Grey when she got a contact high. Entertainment at its finest.
yep you are right https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ic9i3jJ7WBY

what in the hell are yáll talking about?

good God, i opened at the last page & started reading over coffee after last night's party, and, either i'm still high - or there's a new AZ section of BIRDS & FLOWERS...?

PL <---- afraid to go back 1 page to catch up, without more coffee

I agree 100%.

Altho, I would rather own the Aston. Would cost you a lot less money and grief in the long run.

I had a guy come up to me once and ask, "How do you like that used pussy".

I said, "Not too bad, once you get past the used part".

Obviously a jealous ex. I don't think that comment did any good for our future friendship.

And thats how that Ad should have run. Aston or This. Trust us, the Aston is cheaper.
