This case might not be new to many but it is to me, and although i've seen these cases around cue stores, expos and pool halls i've never been able to scrutinise on up close plus i know there's so many different make and model from different manufacturer.

I ordered this case around Feb of this year and it's taken quite a while due to ability to find good components. During the wait i ran out of storage space and picked up a Steppo which i reviewed here which is another great travelling case.

This is a 14x28 case made in China by Jiasen.

I like that is case is made in hard wearing nylon as opposed to vinyl which that can stand the test of time for sure. Good quality vinyl can last a very long time too, but that's where i'm skeptical, no many people know how to find good vinyl and when they are of poor quality they crack, peel and age easily.

All in all this is a well thought out case with a lot of storage compartments for cue display and accessories. I like that it even comes with a slip cover for use during travelling which hides all the pockets and has an opening for the extension handle bar. Definitely a tried and tested formula to be in this configuration that it's in.

I've always been a skeptic when it comes to deal case with spring mechanism at the base, this case comes with that function so only time will tell whether it'll be an issue. Basically it's got the typical push and pop function for butts and shafts.

The case comes with detachable straps to be used when you chose to use it like a backpack, it's a cool function but i doubt many would use it as it's too heavy.

Here's some pictures of the case.

Like the steppo case more and the JB Case.
Would be scared to use the hard plastic tube inside the Jiasen Case also the zippers outside where you stand the Cues in, can scratch the Butts.
Send me the Sugartree:wink:

Actually I was skeptical about the Jiasen case too but it's actually not bad. It's not hard plastic, it's rubbery and the inside is lined with felt so there's not direct abrasion with the cue.

However you're right about the side zippers in contact with cue when on display.

All in all I'm pretty happy with this case.

As for the ST heheh it's staying with me ;)

Don't really care if you viewed. Go pretend to be a Cuemaker somewhere.

The philosophy of a photographer, you should know this by now, is to present the subject with the best you know how and with the least amount of shots. Since photography isn't really your hobby then I understand why you have to post so many pictures.

Anyways, I would rather you show me 5 fantastic pictures of the case than 50 pictures of the case. Quality over quantity. This is Photography 101 and the up and coming photographers don't understand this. They save and keep every shot they take.

I am just saying you can present this thread and case in a better manner. I got bored after the fist post.

Nice case by the way. Use it in good health.

EDIT: I was close. It wasn't 50 shots but 37 shots.

If your bandwidth and time are too precious to look at a few pictures, than you shouldn't waste them posting in the thread you didn't view.

Don't list to this guy Jive. I appreciate the time and effort put in, and hope from something similar on that yellow case.

Oh my mighty lord i'm so sorry my thread and pictures do not please you...i feel like an absolute imbecile right now...i live and breathe to serve and please you, i'll smash myself to death with my camera and stab myself with my cues...i might miss as they are not low deflection.

Dear troll, please go do what you do somewhere else or go start another thread trying to collect money from people who wants to buy a cue that you are going to built with your playdoh lathe like this thread you started here: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=276422

Photography isn't my hobby, cue and case collecting is. I bought my DSLR 2 yrs ago and it's used 99% of the time for my cues only. I don't care for your photography 101, as i enjoy what i do and share pictures of things that i like. You can buzz off somewhere else.
Come to think of it, i'd actually like to see you share pictures you took Mr Professional Photographer. Oh wait...are you gonna charge the community money to fund your camera purchase like you did with cues?

Jive,

I have been looking at big cases like this for going to shows with my cues.

I loved your pics because I got to look at the details of the construction and engineering that your pics revealed.

Someone who wants to buy a case like this surely will study the photos as I did.

Good form I say and thanks for posting.

Rick
