Meucci Cue are the best cues ever made.

In my opinion, Meucci cues are the most well constructed and best hitting cues ever made.
As someone who has worked on cues for like 40 years that is just not true. They do play well and were used by pretty much every pro, and that included those not being paid, but their construction was not that good.

Inlays would be popping out before the cue was even sold, I had to send back quite a few . Ferrules and joints would crack and have to be replaced. In terms of the ferrules, Bob told me that was just part of the cost of owning the cue.

No one expects the tires on the new car to last forever. He felt the design of the ferrule was important enough that if it broke so be it, it can be replaced.

They sure did play good though.

Well Mr. JB why do you think so....I play with 2 this year just to have consistency they are 1970's circa and still are straight and hit well enough, I usually use others not this year. Jim

Of course they are! You think a cue with Power Piston Ultimate Weapon Low Deflection Custom Series Technology isn't amazing?!?!

Tell that to my buddy who split his in two after breaking with his Meucci. What a POS!

That's because your buddy was storing the cue in one of those cheapo Chinese cases.

I've known good players who used a Meucci and I've known good players who say the only cue they can't play with is a Meucci.

i been thinking about trying one of those out. problem is bob said if you aint at least an apa 6 this cue aint for you.

Then I guess you'll never be able to harness the true power of a plywood shaft! Let me know when you become greater and then you will be able to understand, "The most consistent, hi tech, greatest performing cue shaft in the world today..."

i was a 6 for one session back in summer of 2012...shoulda got me one then.

meucci cues

I think bob meucci should chime in on this tread and give us the scope on these great cues that took over the country in the 70's and pool world with the low deflection shaft and still today. What else do you need a meucci cue and JBcase...........And if everyone thinks a predator cue is more accurate and gets more action than a meucci cue ,your medication should be reduced and get un brain washed. Rich aka the skunk......

In my opinion meucci's made prior to 2000 are very good nine ball playing cues in that they do seem to move the cue ball around very well, esp. draw action, and the hit is reasonably solid on these cues. A world calss player in an early 1990s NYC U.S. Open straight pool tournament, Dick Lane used a Meucci cue instead of his Szamboti, I have the Accus Stats video, and he comments that he liked the draw action on the Meucci better than the Szamboti, but he states that the Meucci did not produce Follow action as well as the Szamboti, hence he concentrated on getting flatter angle rack break balls. He finished very high in the tournament, so they can't be that bad! Earlier Meucci shafts did not have the benefit of more advanced shaft wood stabilizing techniques, hence more warping. Meucci had to produce so many cues to keep up with demand that some flaws were inevitable. I have retained two from the early 90s and do not hesitate to use them in any game and would never use those cues as an excuse for my play on a given day.
