Friday Open Thread: 32 Men Left Standing

good to have 1 thread for last 32 matches instead of having 1001 separate threads on separate players, stuff
Anyone can post here about match he is monitoring

Now I see that oldie Efren is thrashing the unknown Japanese killer, Uchigaki now 8-2
Efren is reserving his best for last:thumbup:

Actually do not mind who wins long as it is not ex- champs like Darren, Earl, Shane. They won few times before so they should give to others
:)

I don't care WHO wins or WHERE they are from. I want the BEST player to win. The BEST player for a particular game, day, or event doesn't necessarily all have to be the same person.

What the heck isgoing on with Corey Deuel? 8 to nothing, Peah winning.

Local Virginia Homeboy Champ, Chris Futrell has tied it up 8 to 8. If he wins, the crowd will become unglued, as a lot of them are local Virginians.

correct

John Schmidt mentioned on FB the following about Waleed: Waleed beat me 11-3 he's awesome player and can win tourney. He's from Qatar . They have so much money hopefully that country puts on some pool tourneys. Waleed could lead the way by winning open.

he is 100% correct!!!

a middle eastern champion would be great for the sport and the middle east spirit/people to rally around and behind. They would PUSH the sport and back it in very real and positive ways.

They certainly have the money to do wonders for the sport. Efren & Black widow brought the asian market into pool. Appleton brought the English market into pool. Ralf, mika, Neils & Souget brought europe market into pool.

Why not a middle eastern player getting their people into pool like all the other players have???

Does anyone use the azbilliards interactive brackets on a mobile phone? If so, what browser did you get to work. I'm on Android.

Futrell on the hill 10-9!

Chris Futrell in a double-hill now. Oh, my! Neck and neck to the finish line.

This is the same guy that just beat Earl too.

I can't hit the refresh button fast enough here at the office. Ahhhhhhhh.

Holy Smoke, Chris Futrell from VIrginia pulled through and won. What a shooter! What a guy!

Ok I admit earlier this week I was asking WTH is Chris Futtrell and asking why Efren/Buster are playing some unknowns Futtrell and his partner in scotch doubles challenge match.
Anyway Efren/Buste won handily
But question wanted to ask is Anyone know who won the 4th and last challenge match just last Sunday between Efren/Niels v Parica/Mika ?
Did not hear a peep about the result, maybe they cancelled it

Here's the first time I met Chris Futrell at 15 years old. He came in second place to Keith at the Virignia State Championship. A really nice kid from a good family, a supportive family. Nice to see him do well this year!
