You can't even get a shaft in two months lol nice try
Now jeff that is one hot cue!
Great work as usual Jeff.
Your fit and finish are awesome!
Beautiful veneer work. Just awesome!
Hey Jeff, its Ryan , can i take the deal on behalf of Brian please lol Just kidding and tryin to lighten up the situation.I know about the fighting it funny how somebody was in my shop Sunday night knowing everything, real funny I didn't see anyone there but one person, at 8:00 I sold the cue 8:19 Brain called I wasn't waiting any more. Gone, I really wanted Brain to have to cue and showing it off in DM. I have always really like Brian but one person never allowed in my shop ever is Brad. I hated seeing you call 19 minutes later. best deal I can do for you is make it nicer cue and charge you 800.00 when done. take or leave makes no difference to me. Jeff
Wow looks like I have some research to do.
Jeff, you can not please everyone and you
shouldn't waste your time trying to do that!
I have never heard anything but great things
about Jeff from REAL people (not someone
behind a keyboard). Are his wait times long?
Yes. Does he work at his own pace? Yup. Does
he reserve the right to do whatever the hell
he wants with his cues? Of course. That's the
nature of the business!
Keep up the great work Jeff. That cue you made
for yourself but ended up selling, that is one of
your best works yet. Haters gonna hate.![]()
One of the worst things I've ever read here. This is the whole point of running a business like a business and having polices in place when you take an order.Yup. Does

nature of the business!
I have a real name. Its Ryan.Josh hiding behind key board yes, but Sunday night they were my shop I had 20 people in my shop watching to deal go down. of course they don't have real names. Jeff
One more pic, thanks for looking. Jeff

Why not just have a clear policy in place for ordered cues. A signed agreement with a course of action for non-payment.
A few placed phone calls inside of a few days over a weekend before unloading a placed order isn't really how you go about ensuring delivery and covering your loses.
We are long past the days of operating by a handshake. There should be a paper trail, documentation of placed phone calls and a certified letter stating that the buyer has 10 days to response or risk forfeiture?
Why operate in the shadows playing he said, she said? Its your responsibility as a business owner to have a system in order to ensure that your customers have piece of mind when they place an order with you.
If you want to debate the things wrong with the cue market, then begin a new thread in the appropriate forum. Provide some legitimate input instead of a bystander's speculation, and you might get some serious and meaningful debate. If you feel so strongly that you have the answers to fix cue makers' broken business practices, then maybe offer up yourself as a consultant for cue makers to confide in.
