I think everyone on this forum has read this and is well aware that Jeff Olney wronged you and you are pissed about it. And I would be pissed too!
Moving forward, this thread will stand for anyone who searches as a caveat to doing business with Jeff. So, thanks for putting your experience with Jeff out there.
I don't know Jeff and have never seen one of his cues in person let alone play with one. So, I have no experience dealing with him either.
But I think it's time to let it go and hope this thread drowns into the forum existence. Otherwise, it will continue to linger and eventually be deleted and your purpose of warning others will be voided.

I know a guy undergoing chemo and he isn't whining and crying as much as you over what? A damn pool cue.
You didn't have any money down on the cue and you didn't show up to get the cue when he called.

As much as i agree with you...he had let it go a few times and sure enough a few came back around taking shots at him. Its only natural to want to jump back in and defend yourself.

Nobody had posted in this thread for 4 days and it was on page 4. He makes this post to bring it up front and certainly got his desired result = 35 posts since yesterday morning. Must have really been gnawing on him that it was on page 4.

There's little value in letting this deteriorate any further or risk having it removed. Which none of us want. Good luck to the OP on his next cue order and hopefully Jeff can make some positive changes.

If there is a cuemaker review forum then sure, but afaik Jeff's cues aren't in question, it's his character that's being examined.
I don't think people should keep bashing Jeff, I'm neither a fan or detractor of his cues and don't know the guy. This thread will live as long as people like you try to defend the indefensible. Once again, you think you're helping Jeff? You're not. You're doing exactly the opposite.

My purpose in my posts was basically to point out, I know the individaul (JEFF).
I know, after losing contact with him for 20 years & reconnecting , he's still pretty much the guy I knew more than 25 years ago..... maintaining that says a lot.....
It doesn't mean.... he's absolutely right....... or wrong
At the same time.... the OP ...... should be afforded the same.......
Meaning, the issue is between them..... it doesn't belong with US......
If you go get a rotten burger from McDonalds, you might tell everyone, Mcdonalds has rotten burgers....... is that in fact true, or is it the burger you got from McDonalds was rotten..... Words appear to be the same..... but there's a huge difference in the meaning..... and possibly the end result......
Accordingly..... if we pay attention to threads like this......... or support them....... Aren't we infact behaving in a similar matter as described just right above?????

Taking that a step further..... if McDonalds serves up absolutely delious burgers to millitions...... and serves up rotten burgers to a few or few hundred......... Does that equate to McDonalds being a rotten business........

Cue makers..... you don't have a clue as to how many I know, have done business with, or still have an ongoing relationship with............ as we speak!!!!!!! So let's not go there...... fair enough?????
As far as helping anyone........ As I stated, if it didn't ring properly in your head....... It's between THOSE TWO....... Not US on AZ...... And if you think about it........ It's only those two, who are or are not, going to resolve it...........
Airing dirty laundry can have as much negative affect, as it can a positive affect..... Again...... it's still up to THOSE TWO.................

The true problem is with YOU...... some people just can't see the forest cause all of their small mental focus is being obsorbed by the lone tree, at the edge of the forest, which is just in front of them.........
If you are really intuitive. go back through this, and another thread, examine them at lengths end......... and if you truly understand the analogy above....... you'll truly understand, what a huge waste of time........ I, you, and others have spent, on something, that really don't amount to a hill of beans in our own lives........
