World Pool Masters 2014 predictions!

Some funny business is going on with that poll.
As far as no Ko and others missing, why are there
4 players from England in this ?

Put that link out on face book (I don't do FB)
that should get some votes for Shane. :)

Unfortunately, I did put it on FB, yet Nikos the Greek is still way in the lead. Shane was in the lead for a long time.

This is a British pool site, which has a nice forum, BTW.

The poll, of course, is for fun, but it would be nice to see Shane supported by having pool enthusiasts cast a vote in support.

It is very reflective of how insignificant pool is to Americans, even to those Americans who do like pool. Quite sad, IMO. :frown:

What's the rules? The web site links to BCA rules but is it 9 ball, alternating breaks, racked on spot?

Thanks in advance.

Don't count out Dennis Orcullo.

9 ball on the spot with referee racking... different game to us open.. plus its race to 8 winner breaks.. anything can happen... 12 players can win it.

crowds will not be big or anything like mosconi cup and its 80miles from where i from so not a big following there.. but be some..

From Niels' Facebook page:

9 on the spot regular rack not slightly tapped as normal but just racked and no 3 point rule.

Should be interesting

WPM is off and running
All matches are race to eight. Winner Breaks

Live Updates at http://www.matchroompool.com/world-...wasarao7p/title/partypoker-wpm---live-updates

03:08 Feijen 1-0 Corrieri
The reigning champion makes the perfect start to his defence, taking the first rack of the match with some nice pool along the way. He already looks in the zone here, no slow start from the Dutchman.
03:00 Feijen v Corrieri
Here we go, the PartyPoker World Pool Masters 2014 is about to begin. The defending champion Niels Feijen is first up, and his challenger in the first round is Italy's Daniele Corrieri.

:D

Sheesh! The Greek has 318 votes to Shane's 122 votes.

Vote for Shane. We can't let this Greek run away with the popularity vote. Come on and vote now. :)

The votes won't matter once the shooting starts.
Go SVB! :)

The no. 1 seed, Niels Feijen is in trouble. Down 3-6 in a race to 8, winner's break, single elimination.
