SJM said he was going to be unavailable today so here it the thread for updates. I will do my best to give updates when I am available as well.
Day 3 - like a golf tournament, today is moving day. Time for the USA to make a move. Every shot taken with the determination SVB showed his team in making that 4 ball (I would have played safe
)
Shane described the 4 ball that he fired in with all his will as probably the best shot of his life.
Here is today's schedule - I'll fill it in when it is announced but you can probably figure out who will be placed where.
Also BEFORE people start saying why isn't Mark Wilson having this team play doubles or that guy play singles - take the time to read the rules and the matchups required. There are 10 possible double combinations - you have to use 7 of them and you cannot use the same pairing twice.
As this states, all players in matches 9-11 have to play once. Match 9 was Bergman. Match 10 was SVB & Corey. That leaves Schmidt/Hall as a must to play Match 11. Then Match 12 has to be a player that has not played singles in Matches 3 (Schmidt), 5 (SVB) ,7 (Corey), and 9 (Bergman) so that leaves Hall for Match 12.
Then everyone must play once in Matches 13 (doubles), Match 14 (singles) and Match 15 (singles) with the player that played in Match 12 not being allowed to play, which again was Hall.
It is not as confusing as it sounds, you just have to take the time to read it to understand it. It is a great format.
