Last night I was at a high end party with a world famous and renown astrologer and reader. I got to talk to her about the economy and her predictions. Being skeptical, I eventually got around to asking her about where she saw future prices going for hobby collectors and the like. She asked me to give her more clarity and detail in exactly what I was actually referring to... I mentioned to her some of my various hobbies I have etc. Some of her predictions were pro and some were con, however, one of the very pro comments was about pool cues. To my amazement, she predicted that some of the famous quality cue makers names that I gave her, that the prices and the value of their cues were going to double by the end of the year ! Being discreet and having no affiliations I won't mention the various names of the famous builders names I gave her, but I'm sure some of y'all will figure some out.....So, please don't shoot the messenger, I'm just passing along her prediction..... Do I believe it ? Only time will tell.....

No Dan... That was a given... But, some other names that are considered up at the top... Not mass produced... And by the way JV don't mis judge me by my avatar pic... Has nothing to do with it... Happens to be my grandson's cue I got him for his 13th birthday... My player is a Tasc as many know...

My OB121 isn't for sale...at any price.

Did she say anything about Action house cues? (the good ones, not the ones with slip-on tips).

Results may differ and that's what makes the world go 'round.

In my teen years when I was in to parapsychology I went to the New Orleans Municipal Auditorium and paid to listen to world famous Jean Dixon make predictions about the upcoming year. In that year, she predicted George Romney would be president. George got sick as I recall and as you already know, didn't succeed.

So much for my stint with parapsychology.

I've got 2-new OB-121's stashed away
Now I may keep them till the end of 2015,
I bought them as an investment, glad it's going to pay off.

This is great news
My Dufferin Double Anniversary should double in value, it already doubled once,
and if it doubles again I'm looking at major $$$, big bucks, you do the math

Around that time, Jean Dixon stopped by my father's office unannounced. She told him that she had a premonition that one day he would be governor of the state of Ohio. She missed that one, too.

If you tell enough people enough stuff, eventually, one of the predictions will come true.

Or they say "perhaps telling you changed the outcome"

was meucci on your list?? I mean I figure it'd be easiest for them to double their value. all I gotta do is chalk em before selling

That was just a joke about Bushka's.. no offense meant to your avatar... lol

No worries JV :)..... For others, I'll repeat myself, NOT mass builders... I'm talking top 10 and I'll leave it there ;)

I once noticed a sign by the freeway: "Psychics Convention Next Exit"

If they were psychic why did they need the sign?

Whenever a "mind reader" asks for more clarity and detail, it kind of gives me the impression that their abilities ain't working too good. The guy at 7-11 may have a better chance of predicting.

Let's go balabushka Man! Why leave us hangin'... Tell us who's cues she said would double... Her prediction has nothing to do with telling us so spot it out...

I just had a Heart to Heart with my Spirit Guide, via mind and a Pendulum.

She told me, (She, as in a very old Native Women), that if anyone could predict the future with any great accuracy, they would rule the World.

I certainly hope that it wasn't Sylvia Brown et all.

Joey, I also took a Parapsychology class. I think that I got ripped off as it was only one class.

I went para sailing once and they only gave me one sail.

Then, I became a Para Medic. That was cool cause I always had a partner.

Here in New Orleans, we have the Fairgrounds, as in Race Horsing and the Flim-Flam man stunt is to quickly become familiar with several new people to the track. They carry their racing form in hand with such familiarity that the newbies think they are either psychics or have inside information and a wink and a nod often supports this belief.

With the first person, the FF man tells them the # 8 horse has been running strong in practice. To the second person, the FF man tells them the #7 horse has been running strong in practice. And so it goes until the FF man has told a different story to each person until all of the horses have been predicted as "running strong in practice". Occasionally, a second horse is mentioned and it is usually the favorite in the race but that horse is normally discounted (because the pay out is so low, not because the horse's chances to win are any less than that of the other horses, in fact quite the opposite).

After the race, the FF man remembers all of his "customers" and the information as to which horse he gave to each and approaches the win, place and show "customers" to see if he can collect his vigorish; after all he is due for working hard. If the person who was given the winning horse, didn't make a big bet, the FF man loudly protests and promises to never give him another horse, in hopes that others will hear and ask for his uncanny predictions in the future. And so it goes.....looking at the tourist's feet, "I bet I can tell you where you got them shoes".

You take yesterdays racing form and circle 7 winners. Then run off 50 copies and sell them with your tout sheets.

Do

Do you think she would like to buy some now before the price doubles I can make her a sweet deal.
