2015 DCC Bigfoot tournament

Which, I think, yields the following field:

Johnny Archer
Chris Bartram
Ruben Bautista
Francisco Bustamante

Lee Vann Corteza
Mike Dechaine
Jeff Ignacio
Jason Klatt

John Morra
Rodney Morris
Dennis Orcollo
Alex Pagulayan

Jayson Shaw
Jeremy Sossei
Shane Van Boening
Nick Van Den Berg

Field of monsters, killers, assassins, hitmen, wiseguys, beasts, demons, titans-all can win
All depends on draw but my picks are Jayson, Buste, Shane or Ignacio :D

Rack your own, with the Diamond rack. ALL matches are a Race to Eleven, per Accu-Stats deal with various television outlets.

Great stuff, Jay. Looking forward to this
Race your own way better than Rack for opponent which was bit of fiasco at turning stone
Just love invys like this where every match is big gun v big gun match -no easy matches from first to final day
Unless big field tourneys can stream every match so viewers can choose matches, most people are only going to watch final days of big tourneys where the big guns will match up
:D

The first year of the Bigfoot was I believe 32 players and races to 15. This is better for everyone. Every match is finals quality, the races aren't too long, and they're all in the Accu-Stats arena. Can't wait to be there.

Single or double elimination? How many tables are being used?

By the way, that is a perfect rule for the 10-ball on the break.

The first year of the Bigfoot was I believe 32 players ...

Eight of these elite-field 10-Ball Challenge events have been held so far. The first 4 were "Fatboy" events played on 9-foot tables at the DCC (2009 - 2012), and all of them had fields of 16.

The most recent 4 of these events were "Bigfoot" events played on 10-foot tables. Only the second of these 4, held at the 2013 DCC, had 32 players; the 1st (2012 Tunica), 3rd (2013 Tunica), and 4th (2014 DCC) Bigfoot events all had fields of 16.

Thank you. I was thinking of the 2013 DCC Bigfoot event when I wrote that. I forgot the first Bigfoot event was in Tunica. The Tunica event was memorable fir a number if reasons not the least of which was Landon Shuffet's victory over Earl, but it was not apparently not memorable enough for me.

Very good move implementing no-called-shot Nine-Ball rules. Some of us remember what our sport was like before this "sterilization movement" took hold.

Jay, is either Aramith or Cyclop a sponsor to the Bigfoot? If either one is, it would be a disservice to both companies to use the CB from Aramith and the OB's from Cyclop.

If neither is a sponsor, please, pretty please, use Aramith Tournament (not super pros) standard color set. The color differentiation on that set is great on TV. 5 out better then the Cyclop set and 7 ball better than the super pro set, imo.

Thank you.
