Fine looking Hustler boots right there. Not for the Under Cover Agent.

If I saw someone enter the room wearing a pair of these, along with a pair of fancy designer strides, a shiny silk jacket with an 8 Ball embroidered on the back, and a cue tucked up under his arm, I tells ya, I would be ascared to be a playing him.

Either that or I would be laughing too hard to hold my cue straight.

I sincerely hope that these are a one of a kind, just in case that I ever see these in a bargain bin somewhere and I get half tempted.

If I played someone who wore boots like that.....

...I'd probably miss by a foot

Hey, CJ, aren't they the boots you were wearing when you rode into this place and announced, "Fellers... there's a new sheriff in town"? ;)

You'd have to be one tough SOB with so much confidence you would make Donald Trump blush to be able to pull those off. So, who wants the first pair ;)

It's amazing how easily people miss-judge, especially when they think in stereotypes

I was known to always wear boots when on the road, just because it was not what the typical pool players did.

Also, keeping my money in a wallet was unusual, and toned down the gambler's suspicious nature. It's amazing how easily people miss-judge, especially when they think in stereotypes and have firm convictions about other people.

Back in the late 60s and early 70s in the South, a LOT of the "hustler/gambler-types" wore black leather blazers and black or dark clothes for some reason. And they favored fancy slip-on loafers. Something like this, but most didn't look as good as this model.

I kinda like those boots, but I'd never wear them when I played pool. If I lost I'd feel and look absolutely stupid, and I'd never be able to fend off all the fights

This will complete the ensemble. I had a sweater like this back in the 90's but threw it out during a spring cleaning purge during the years I was not playing. Ohh, how I wish I still had that sweater!

That is one snazzy sweater! I'd rock that in the office. Hell, I'd probably wear it daily.
