Well I have to say that is the best 10 ball I have ever seen on the 10 foot table. Shane beats Alex 11-2, he cues up a .957 which is probably the highest on a 10 footer. If you did not watch it on Accu-Stats then you missed out big time!

That had to be some of the best 10 foot tenball ever played.

Like I said, Shane playing like that is unbeatable.

Shane's break was awesome, dictated the whole match. Felt bad for Alex but that's the way it goes sometimes.

Well.... not bad for a guy who isn't World Class or a World Champion or sux ass at Chinese 8-ball...

The .957 was calculated as follows:

He pocketed 110 balls.

He was charged with 5 errors:
- Scratched on the break in Game 2
- Missed a straight-back bank on the 1-ball in Game 5
- Missed the 6-ball in Game 10 (deemed easier than a spot shot, hence counts as 2 errors)
- Safety error in Game 13 (left a shot easier than a spot shot)

110 / (110 + 5) = .957

something the TPA doesn't even show...

He had what? 4-5 bnr's??? tenfoot tenball and he has maybe 5 out of eleven games that are bnrs??? That is just sick.

In my Saturday match with Amar, he had 3-4 bnrs playing tenball on a ninefoot blue label diamond. That was impressive. What Shane just did was phenomenal.

6 B&R's on his 11 breaks. He had 3 in a row -- the only instance of that I have seen in this event so far (I missed one match).

That was amazing to watch. I watched from above, and it was a perfect vantage point to see every shot. I'm going to be in the same seat tonight at 9 for the final between Shane and Lee Vann. Should be a barnburner, unless Lee Vann doesn't get to shoot...like Alex! :D

WOW! First thanks for the DETAIL. I really like this.

I had no idea that you were charged with an error if you failed to make a straight-back bank.

He missed the shot. Accu-stats charges that as an error. I disagree with Delaberto on this though.... it was the right shot. He swung for the fence and controled whitey. The one just barley leaked out.

Mark Wilson said during stream it was a defensive error and not a ball pocketing error. Would make more sense than being given an error for missing that bank. Irregardless, it was spectacular.

I was ringside right behind svb. He missed one ball either the 6 or 7 i cant remember. I was a very difficult shot that anyone would be a dog to make and get shape. He just looked very comfortable today. Great playing

Yes that looks right. That 6 ball was WAY tougher than a spot shot due to the position required after pocketing

Last night after Mika and Lee played everyone left and Shane showed up.

I watched him practice for a while.

That's just what it takes... He cares so much it seems IMO. Everyone else went to have fun or do something else and he's practicing tough shots and his break.

He ran the first 2 racks he actually played on the table during his practice.

I'd rather watch him practice than some of the matches personally.
