I enjoy these matches,they provide me an opportunity to see really good players,under the gun playing the game I like most


I get the feeling that this Smith can 2 rail a ball from anywhere and has the
nerves of a cat burglar.

I always wanted to play like that,but never improved enough to .

If he plays Efren I want to attend in person,I am still not convinced he will beat Efren

Of course,I don't really know,What do you guys think?

In a race to seven I would take odds that he doesn't past to 2.
This is not criticism ,it is an offer for action.
 
Dean Danny is playing some really high level one hole right now. But with that being said I don't think he's up to play a well rested efren quite yet.

But can Efren hold him to 2 games, going to 7? Shit, I never seen Danny hit a ball and I am gonna say nofukinway.

You would be right..... And I seriously doubt Efren wants any part of Danny in anything other than a short race.;)
I would love to see them match up 8-ahead, but that will never happen....:frown:
Scott, on the other hand, may may be able to hang, but I'm not so sure. When Danny hits a gear, it's autopilot. That match last night was tied after 5 hours. Then in less than 4 hrs. later it was over.
 
So I take it Danny beat Chris last night.

I don't think Efren has anything to prove... but him holding any top one pocket player to 2 games racing to seven is highly unlikely these days. Watching him play at the DCC this year was certainly impressive at his age. I would love to see him and Nick play an all-around of Banks, 1P, and 9B. The two best all-around players of all time IMO.

I would much rather see Alex play Danny in an ahead set...
 
just watching last night i think 8 ahead with efren would have been over quickly

i don't need advice about how i would lose
since it seems to be no way

give me 19 to 1 and i have $ you can win if they play Danny gets 4 on the wire
race to 7 or 7 ahead

This is not an insult to Danny,i think he is a really good shooter,best kicker and 2 rail banker i ever saw

none the less if you guys don't scare me off with words i want to bet

This would probably be the the best match-up ... I forgot about Alex. :embarrassed2:

I could see this going for days, but then again, most people thought Chris/Danny would last 2-3 days.

Who's backpedaling? He asked for odds and got told it was a guaranteed loss. Efren holds his opponent to 2 games race to 7 for 19:1. Seems pretty fair. He's spotting 5 games to Danny. Monster spot. Fair odds.

19 to 1 is asking a lot. Ten years ago Efren maybe could have did this but not today. Danny well rested he will beat Efren. Don't get me wrong I love watching Efen play and he's been my fravorite player over all, but father time catches us all. So if we change them odds some then you got action. That is if they ever play.
 
Next opponent(s) for Smith I would like to see in an 8 ahead race (for once, Efren is not on the list):

Younger players:
Alex (the guy is underrated IMO)
Frost (they seem to be destined to match up anyways)

Older:
Shannon

Elder statesmen:
Ike (rematch!)

Regardless of who he would play, great job by Danny, can't wait to see more.

I did miss the 'odds' mention in th einitial post. My bad. I read so fastly that words often burst into flames, so I sometimes miss details.

My understanding from Chicago is, they're going to play again today, (don't know the details). They left all the lights, equipment and MONEY there.

Will know later some details.
