Hey Mr3C, did you see the text opinions of Scott Frost? Maybe you missed them based on your recent garbage..

During my time living in Arizona for the last 20 years I have truely enjoyed watching SJDick play...especially 1P. Also have enjoyed watching Scott Frost play and Ronnie Allen...tho much below his prime...but still very entertaining. Not sure who this 3Cushion guy is...and don't much care...seems like a real jerk to me.

Not sure it really matters who was better...all were/are great players and even more interesting...unique individuals. Hail to the San Jose Dick's, Ronnie Allen's and Scott Frost's of the pool world.

Robert, these are the kinds of answers these two present when they have NO facts!

History books and historians rely on such facts for future generations! When a player can't supply such, they're REDUCED to being, once again, just a 'footnote' for ALL to remember!

Just as Billy I cleared up the that debacle regarding Artie and SJD, hopefully Danny D will shed some light on SJD vs Mecican Johnny!

P.S. Robert, around 20 years ago, I looked in my office at over 200 hundred trophies I'd accumulated over the years. I went an got the maintenance man with a cart to take them to the dumpster. We lived on the 55th floor at the time, they would of made WAY too much noise putting them down the garbage chute! LOL! Besides, I made WAY MORE money gambling at 3C than trophies!

You haven't really been real informative the last 20 pages, just repetitive about how you think SJD sucks. I was trying to read some old road stories and information about Ronny Allen and other old school players, but every other post is you dogging SJD and telling us nobody could beat Artie.

Trophies do lie. Ask any league player that has a couple hundred of them stacked up in their basement

And theres nothing wrong with promoting pool. There is a problem when your ego is so big that it sucks the air out of the room when you walk in and no one else can take a breath.

SJD is in the HOF. He was a known name player on the West Coast. He's entitled.

Many of us never heard of some of the players in Chicago, just like some guys in Chicago never heard of some of the players another parts of the country. Doesn't mean they couldn't play top speed pool and gambled with both hands.
