I hope Bartram empties him out and then gets my man Parker in a game and then they both come home fat!
Dippy Dave in pool world = Viffer in poker, AKA David Peat. Story goes he bet his life roll on a pool game he thought was a lock, couldnt see straight or make a ball, lost everything, went to doctor and had a brain tumor or something. That ended his pool career for a while, after which he went to poker, won teh monies, and now likes to challenge world class 1p players for huge stakes that should be outside of their comfort zone. Im a huge fan of this life story.

Youd rather sweat A person who has stiffed and quite possibly cheated or tried to dump as opposed to watching two pros play? Dippy has done nothing positive for this game
He's a pro poker player. In poker he goes by viffer

I hope dippy gets back in the pool world. I'd rather sweat ppv dippy getting tropical spots for huge money than watching svb/orcollo or even alex/frost 1p...

There are millions of people who will watch poker on TV who do not know the difference between having the nuts and running a bluff ... it really does not matter to them ... What they do understand is that there will be a winner and there will be losers and a lot of cash is going to be changing hands.
That's the excitement for the audience, that's the attraction. This is the ingredient that sells Poker, and the same ingredient needed to sell Pool in todays world.
Good rolls.
The list of pros who haven't stiffed, cheated or tried to dump is much shorter than the list of pros that have.
If thats true then Dippy has been working on his game![]()
You want to watch ACTION - where money is going to change hands. The more cash on the line the bigger the interest.
This is the secret behind Poker's attraction to large audiences. This is why millions of people watch the World Series Main Event.
This is something the Poker world 'gets' and the Pool world does not.

Why does poker attract so many people and such a following on TV? One name.... Chris Moneymaker
Now EVERYONE thinks they can play poker and succeed.
And that's the difference. With a bit of studying and practice, most anyone can play effective poker, if you're not an idiot. That's not true with pool. Not even close.

And every poker player I know no matter what level is usually positive they lost only because the other guy is a donkey who got lucky. Doesn't work that way when a guy drills you 9-1. Well maybe it does sometimes according to facebook.
