Best tip for 314 2

My favorite right now is kamui clear black soft. Hits more like a medium to me. Holds its shape well, hasnt glazed over at this point in time. No issues thus far.

I've tried everything from Zan and Kamui SS to hard on it and my absolute favourite above anything else is Kamui Clear Original medium, it has the best feel and sound to it and it holds chalk really well. 2nd place goes to black hard, its good but doesnt hold chalk quite as well like the original. 3rd place would be black medium.

You'll likely have to experiment a bit on your own but a medium would be good place to start. From there you go up or down in hardness if you like, or stay with it if it feels right for you

I've tried a few tips and the one I have been using for about a year is the kamui clear soft.
I've replaced it after about 9 months of use only because I used the shaper a bit too much. Now I use the shaper more sparingly and it still has plenty of meat.

I've been using either kamui or cosmo chalk. Both seam about the same, but the kamui doesn't flake off as much.

Hit and feel are excellent.

Good luck in your search

Dave

314-2 Tip

Just had the old faithful Triangle Tip put on my Predator and all I can say is Holy Sh_t talk about a change in hit. I went from a Ultra Skin Med to the Triangle. Took alot of the soft wimpy feel out of the shaft. Now I can stand to play with it. Michael

FWIW, I have a Kamui Black Super Soft on mine and I am not that fond of it.

Update:

My shaft is a Predator FAT 314-2.

The tip plays a lot better now that I cut about half of it off. When they are new and "long", they play "weird"...not consistent. Now that it is much shorter and doesn't "flex" as much it plays 10 times better.

I hated the Everest tip that came on it.

I've used hard Kamui brown and hard black as well and Wizard Medium.
Prefer the brown and the Wizard any day.
Black glazes over for me very very quickly but maybe that's because I break with my play cue, that being said the black is the only one that glazes over that fast.
I'm liking the Wizard tips more every day.

I've got a Predator Victory medium tip on a 314-2 shaft and think it
plays outstanding.I know some people hate these tips but the quality
has improved as of late with these tips and I'm sold on the playability.

personall i have tried blackheart, zan, kamui, and predator medium tips and they all play close to the same......i miscued slightly more with the kamui which was a black clear. i have enjoyed all of these premium tips tho

My shaft came with a Kamui clear Soft, I was not a fan of it. It just felt "gritty" to me, thats the best way I can describe it, it felt like it would lose grip then grab the ball again as it contacted. I had a Black Soft on my last shaft and loved it, I just installed a Tiger Sniper tip and it feels much better. I will be trying out a Cyborg tip in the near future.
