Bergman: A
Woodward: A+ (Except on the kicks)
Van Boening: B
Deuel: B (Dogged it his last match)
Dechaine:B- (But looking much better than previous years)

Bergman: E (can't stand his stupid face and body language and do not enjoy his playing at all, he's not even aiming when needing an escape)
Woodward: B+ (usually nice smiles during play, but can't stand his haircut - he looks like a plucked goose)
Van Boening: B+ (very solid and nice to watch)
Deuel: B+ (love his imagination)
Dechaine:B- (solid worker, but lacking in dynamics and imagination)

I actually have Dechaine playing better (closer to his ability) than Corey. Corey is on the brink of full tilt. Mike is bouncing back. The two biggest surprises for me is Shane's slight lack of confidence and Sky's fantastic performance. Sky's great, (but they all are) but as a rookie, he's playing like a seasoned pro. And I think his kicking is just fine. Hopefully, Shane will take that sick carom 9 shot from last night and remember he's one of the all time best--and play like it.

A's to all five because they've showed no fear and gave it their all. Pool is a game filled with chances and luck. Humans who play pool are not machines; thus, they are subject to error. They're not out there vacationing with their kids or having ladies of the night in the rooms or playing table games in the casino. They really are a team unit, and I like that.

BTW, what is the age of each player? Just curious. There is a considerable age difference between this team and the team we had 2 years ago.

Bergman: B- (this guy seems like he just knows he's too cool for school, if you know what I mean)
Woodward: A- (Plays great and seems really likable, this guy seems like breath of fresh air for American pool, I hope the pool scene doen't ruin him)
Van Boening: B (He can do better, and I feel he will. Shane's a shining light for American pool)
Dechaine:C (WTF is going on that noggin of his? He can definitely do better. I hope he gets comfortable in this format and can pull it together)
Deuel: C- (the cross corner shot on the tied-up 3 ball followed by his impossible jump shot keep him from failing grade.)

Dechaine & Deuel are the wild cards here.... if they can pull it together and get cozy on that table, we have a shot. It seems the Europeans are making more mistakes this year than in last few... You can't say team USA hasn't been getting opportunities.

I'm gonna guess!

Corey is 38
Skylar is 22
Justin is 26 or 28
Shane is 34?
Mike D is 30?

Very interesting. I wonder what the ages are of the members of Team Europe. I know a few are above 40. Team USA a few years ago, many of the players were older.

Sky: B+, he's been solid, goes up in the air sometimes
Mike D.: B-, would have been a B but that safety where the clock ran down was the worst shot of the cup. He's making some real tough shots look real easy, Not winning the coin flip situations though.
SVB: B-, only cause of the carom or it would have been a C, especially after that 6 ball on day 1 was just no.
Berg: B, seems to be getting the worst of the luck but he's cool out there, I think he's got the best shot to get hot. His style holds up even with a short clock and heat. I like that.
Corey: C-, he's gotta find a middle ground between crazy and genius. I literally find myself calling him one or the other nearly every shot. He also has a big chance to get hot especially after a rough day the pressure might be off at this point.

rating pro,s

Just think if the Ryder Cup was 5 holes.Even i at 68 can win a race to 5 against anyone. Having said that i coudnt carry anyone of these guys cases .For people to rate and rag these guys is ******* joke.Playing a team event like this is so much harder than playing a single match for no matter how much $. No one wants to loose for the team .Then see your own countrymen knock you.Go Mark and team U.S.A.

Spot on

Mike D had bad luck in that match with Ouschan. Any other day, he wins that match 9 times out of 10 (no I am not saying he can beat Ouschan 9 out of 10) - what I am saying is: Mike broke dry 3 times, Ouschan made a great jump shot to steal a game, and when Mike played a dead lock safety and then a ball lucked in causing himself to be locked up ---- change any of those 5 things and Mike wins the match.

Hopefully Corey lets Justin be the leader of their doubles match today. If not, and Corey continues to fail, he will bring Justin down with him.

Skyler = A

The others are B and C's.

Except Corey Duall. Man he is REALLY struggling.

Sky is kicking so badly that I don't know how he can get an A. He's passing well, but B+ since he woofed so badly that it cost multiple racks.

Show some knowledge.

On 2 of his 3 missed kicks, he narrowly missed the ball in his attempt to hit the side of the ball that had a chance to leave a tough shot.
