This one is easy.

What did you get accomplished during 2015 and what are your goals for 2016?

Happy New Years Everyone!

In 2016 I want to cash in a tournament for the first time!
(Only played in one lifetime so far haha)
Going to play in at least 5 this year!

The Bucket List

I retired public work November last year so now I'm starting on some of my Bucket List things:

Right now I want to get my son through School...coming in May and improve my One Hole game some.

I want to spend more time working on me, taking care of my folks and working on my house.

I also want to completely finish my next book, do it right and get ready for the one after it.

I want to start doing some traveling within the US.

I just want to get enough back pain relief to let me hit some balls. I bought a lot of cues this year which I haven't been able to enjoy yet.

2015 -- I went back to college to study business.

2016 -- I want to further improve both my pool game and my piano.

GOAL -- Want to be the best (combination) pianist and pool player on the planet!

Any other pianist/pool players out there?
Only come at me if you can actually play from sheet music and are at least an 'A' pool player. :)

My goal is to start facing my fears on the pool table.

No longer will I decline to play one pocket for 20/game against that guy who is a bit better than me. No longer will I stay at home instead of putting my money up for a local tournament.

And my biggest fear of all - I will stop being afraid of becoming better. I hope to challenge this one directly. I used to play pool with a guy who was only an average player, but he had a lot of charisma. When he was in the spotlight and had a moderate to very difficult shot ahead of him, he would say to himself so that everyone could hear "don't be afraid to win it all right here" and I used to laugh because it was funny. Now I concentrate harder because I think I understand.

LOL MORE LIST CUES COME IN AND BIGGER BLACK BOARS IF ONES I HAVE EVER SELL!

this is easy
2015 nothing
2016 nothing
having a goal of nothing is easy to achieve. goals are just setting yourself up for disappointment.
unless you think setting a goal of nothing is a goal in of itself.
in that case I'm screwed.
this is very confusing,I'm done here.

Still being able to beat the 9 ball ghost on the BB in 2017. I gave up on ever running 100 again on the BB. Johnnyt

2015 vs 2016

In 2015 I found I have a decent high gear that I can occasionally tap into. In 2016 I want to find it a little more often.

In 2016 I want to be a better loser. I know I can't win them all and in 2015 I probably showed my ass a few times.

These are my billiard goals but I am sure I can transfer them to life in general.

I studied music in college and played several instruments including piano. I used to play classical, some jazz and pop. I was able to read sheet music (in treble, bass and alto clef, sight read and transpose).

Since then I have forgone music altogether and focused on pool and other interests. I have been "steadily" ensconced as a B player for years.

Sounds like I just missed your criteria :grin-square:

i have been out of serious pool playing for a long time due to back injury from a car accident. But I started a few months ago to get back to the gym and learning different aqua exercises to rebuild my health and lose weight. All in an effort to get back into serious playing and regain my playing level before the accident and to go above that level. So for 2016 my goals are:

1) to increase my acupuncture treatments to 2x a week til my upper back pain is seriously reduced.

2) to increase my current aqua exercise regimen from 45 minutes to 90 minutes per session. Continue 5x a week.

3) to increase my cardio regimen from 30 minutes to 60 minutes per session. Continue 5x a week.

4) to restart my efforts at learning and incorporating low impact yoga into my health regimen for 2016.

5) to update my previous training system binders to incorporate new shot and drill material. Continue self-testing under the PAT test materials, and include self-testing under Billiard University drill materials.

6) complete official PAT and Billiard University tests by end of 2016.

7) to be able to consistently train and play pool for 4 hours per session without experiencing serious back and should pain problems.

8) acquire new rx eye glasses and a set of billiard eye glasses.

9) to be able to begin entering tournaments and compete in leagues on a regular basis.

I want to win a regional amatuer tournament and cash in an open.
I want to run 100 balls high is 53 at the moment
I want to run a 5 pack and or beat the 9 ball ghost pro. Run 2 pack before on 9ball and 10 ball but can't seem to keep focused...main goal is to do things to help me with my focus so I can achieve those goas...now let's do this!!!!
