Would anyone know what the inlay design in the photo is named or called?

Is there any reference term for this specific design? I had to present a photo to a cue-maker since I didn't know how to refer to this specific inlay design when I asked him to use it. I basically described the inlay as fancy scrimshaw sharp pointed opposing spears with dot but that's a mouthful to say or write and so I'm imagining there's likely some term or description reference for this specific inlay design.........would anyone happen to know?

heres a design i really like. Would it be possible for you to do something similar and inspired by this design?

Thanks.....my cue's forearm uses fancy peacock inlays and this is the inlay design I chose for the sleeve.

Not TW.... Show some pics Paul..

Aha, you've been talking to the maker I see. Got it last week and nearly fell to my knees. I'm having the maker proof read some of my notes. Hopefully I can post up everything later this week or next. You and Jake will just have to wait until then to see "Gatsby".:)

Paul,
Enjoy your new cue.

Mia.....et al.....The cartoon character Popeye was noted for sayin'...."I am what I am."

Ergo, ....I like what I like.....Maple forearms and ebony sleeves......plus a little ivory here and there.

Nonetheless, while I can appreciate the craftsmanship of other cue designs & woods, I'll always only own what I like.

I found the above approach pretty much guarantees absolute satisfaction with each & every cue I spend my money on.

p.s. Thanks Jamie for explaining the engraving.

Your design is called "arrowheads"
at least that is what we tell Barry when we order

Peacocks is the fancier design

Since this might be a technical question,I might be wrong
