any one know why the cheating thread vot pulled ?

I disagree. I don't think anything she wrote was that bad.

Calling someone a cheater by name is pretty bad. Especially when nothing she said amounted to actual cheating -- just that things didn't go the way she wanted.

And then the whole "I have to go on a national forum and rant because my husband lost a match" thing is very very weak. Personally I'd be embarrassed to be her husband.

I would too. I just don't think it's "big" enough for anyone to be scared about legal consequences.

My guess is someone asked her to get it pulled. She contacted the mods with the request and they complied. This is just a wild guess but considering how the thread was going, makes sense.

I played in a tournament with badly butchered tables. Although I would love to gripe about it, that's just my opinion. It's unfair to bad mouth the place for trying to have a tournament, I just simply won't play in it again.

They never had a "tour". They ran a tournament in Chicago a couple of times called the Windy City Open. IIRC, they got a pretty good turnout. Interesting that Eydie Romano (posting under Bob's name) responded to my post that there were apparently 5 master players and a pro, Scott "Kiddo" (correct name Kitto), playing in this little local tournament...something she conveniently failed to mention in her rant thread. If there were that many expert players and nobody else was complaining, I think I see the problem.

No tournament they were playing a heads up match and the guy had 6 of his thug friends helping intimidating and he won't fix the rack when none of the back balls weren't touching the rest of the rack. And I would say they were talking smack as well.
Guy should have just quit rite then.

Moet.1977...I completely agree. If you don't like the conditions or the rules...DON'T PLAY! Seems pretty simple.

Scott, I agree with your agreement. No sense in complaining about the match you just lost. Instead approach the TD with several reasonable, practical, suggestions. Even better, make your list, and first get buy-in from some of the other master players.

Suggesting rack-you-own is fine. Maybe even suggesting not to play at that bar until the tables are fixed. Maybe even pass a hat to collect the cash to fix the table.
