Here's the difference... ANYBODY (All in caps... I know you lke that) can do the work your "AC repairman" can do. It takes absolutely no extraordinary "talent" to do that work. I came from a similar background and understand what talent is required....Cue making, well thats a different story.. You, making your argument using the comparison of the two is reaching at best and doesn't address my comments in any way.... Great is Great regardless the road to it... My only point was Dennis's work is what it is regardless of anything else... Enjoy your evening as well!

What an unbearable crock of shit you're always selling. Being great at any particular trade does not mean much when it takes so long to get the work that so many others are 96% capable of doing. Argue all you want, but that 4% difference that elevates Dennis above the rest does not equate to the divinity you're claiming it does.

Finally! I got hold of Dennis and he did a great job making it right. And I got my cue today! Thanks guys! Glad I got back my cue! lol

Would you recommend Dennis to someone that was NOT in a hurry to get their project completed?

How do you rate the quality of his work on a scale of 1 to 10 with 12 being the highest?

I heard from a reliable source Dennis is working hard to get caught up on the work he has, now that he is back in good health. It did not sound like he was taking on new orders from my understanding.

You're delusional sir...

1) Butt refinished
2) Leather wrap installation
3) Two new shafts (w/ micarta ferrules I provide)
4) Resigned the forearm

That's it right there....

The signature took all the time....

Good looking cue... I am sure it was worth the wait, and its always better to have the original maker do the work whenever possible.

To be honest, I wouldnt mind waiting even though he quoted 3 months at the beginning. If he keep me updated or at least respond to my mails telling me what he is up to or what issues he's going thru. But he never replies and Ive heard he still does repair every saturday and also I saw some people getting new cues from him. Which makes me felt awful that he's ignoring my texts.

There's a lot of misinformation in this thread about Dennis, about the OP, and about how much work was done to his cue. It's all none of our business and opinions are only that, just opinions. Anyone who knows Dennis on a personal level knows the real stories. The internet is just speculative over climate change. Glad to see Tim got the cue back intact and with the top notch quality work that was promised. Thanks for the reading entertainment everyone. -Jason
