This is a test, if I say craziest cue builder, who do you say? I will post who I think in the ask a cue builder section. Don't look until you answer. I want to know what he used for ferrule material.

I sense another thread being deleted. This would be derogatory toward the cue builders named, wouldn't it?

Perhaps you could change it to "the most eccentric" or "the most eclectic" or "least conventional" although I can tell you, you certainly zeroed in on the right "man".

Not deleting this one, I think he would appreciate it, and I like his videos! I forgot how much he would charge for the cat, but it was more than the cues. Tate, I appreciate your support!! Ty

OK it's Dennis Diekman. He holds a place in cue making history for sure! The wildest ideas and most eccentric and creative cue maker I can imagine. He has also taught many others. There are many stories of Deek-a-Mon here in the asphalt jungle!

No idea what he uses for ferrules, however!

You really think he would mind?

He said at one point a certain amount of money, I don't recall, and you could come to his house and he'd teach you. I would be there in a New York minute, if I had the cash! 100% serious!

No, I think Dennis would be fine. He delights in being himself, which is different.

I was afraid other posters would start naming other cue makers they thought were "crazy" - then you know how that goes.

Yes, he taught many including Dave Barrenbrugge, whose cues I greatly admire.

On a side note Tate, I used to be into cycles. Had a Ducati SS w/ J&J pipes, crashed it and purchased a Aprillia. Not a good idea, if you can't ride a 650 you sure as hell cant ride a 1100. Lol. It was a pretty bike though w/ akropovic pipes. Lost my balance on some sand in a parking lot and two guys dove under it to save it from being dented. Now if I could find pool friends who don't knock over cues, lol.

tho i dont think he's crazy.....you could say extremely interesting and such.....

David Kershenbrock.....likes to eat "white" clored food....and just um read his book....much mention of metaphysical

deickmon is an original for sure...love the cat man!

and i think dennis was charging like between 5-8k but i could be making that up

I always like outliers, no disrespect was intended. I'm a cat guy, Dennis wasn't gonna let you buy his cat, unless you had serious cash, that cat could probably build pool cues, lol.
