Site for cues for sale by regular Joes?

I've only been a member for about three years. But in that short time I've seen a change that I'm sure many people have seen, especially those that have been around longer than I have. When I first began to use the AZ billiards for sale forum it seemed like it was mostly cues for sale or trade by regular guys – not businesses – and not by people who have 6 to 12 separate threads going at one time. I find it much less enjoyable to logon, with the intent of looking at nice cues that may interest to me, to see the same cues over and over again by the same people who stack 6 to 12 threads one on top of the other. Obviously, when I do have something for sale, I get even more frustrated to see these sellers dominate the front page and push everybody else off of it so quickly. Does anyone know if there is anything in the works to stop this - or a different place where regular Joe's can buy and sell pool cues that's not dominated by businesses or people who stack countless threads? (Besides eBay, Craigslist, or any other auction type sites)

By the way, (to legitimize the thread) I have one piece of master chalk in light green for sale for $50 plus $25 shipping. CONUS only
 
I notice it as well. The only other place that I have found to buy/sell cues is facebook Open Billiards Market

Even still there are quite a few dealers there that post excessive amounts of cues, however the amount of offenders is lessened by good moderating and active moderators.

it's funny how people look at things
i buy most of my cues from dealers,
i find that i am treated better
less likely to be over charged or receive
defective cues

this holds true in the car business,the real estate business and several other businesses

so true is this,when i started in the real estate business,i bought 16 houses and could not sell them myself,For Sale by Owner.

i opened a brokerage Dean Campbell Real Estate and sold all 16 in less than a month
I find it much more unpleasant buying from some guy with one cue,he has no reputation to provide or
to protect

the only advantage he can offer me is that he can sell for less,and he usually has to,
Figure it out when you decide to sell your car,you think a person will pay you what a Dealership ask

I fail to see any advantage what soever in these little regular guy forums for the customer

If you think a salesman might mislead you,try dealing with these guys that nobody knows

I have sold several cars over the years and I've done very well. Thank you. Nowhere did I suggest that buying a cue from someone with zero feedback had any advantages over buying from a dealer. Come on. I have bought cues from a couple of dealers on AZ billiards and they are good people. The point is that some of them have many cues for sale and they stack multiple threads, one on top of the other. As many as 10 - 12 sometimes. Could they not consolidate? For many reasons this makes for a less enjoyable experience, whether you're a buyer or a seller. And it's not just the dealers - I'm sure it's some others as well – oh and I only asked if anyone knew if this might be getting fixed or what other sites might exist that are more like AZB a few years ago.

In MY experience, SERIOUS buyers dont give a hoot who and how others "stack" their sale adds. You're either a buyer and WANT to thumb through, do the work, and find that deal that works for you or you arent. Sellers owe nothing to the lurkers purusing the for sale section and those who enter should do so without any preconceived notions. It is what it is. STILL....The cues and deals are still there. Those who really want them just have to do the work to find them. Pretty simple really.

I happen to agree with this. My friend started a cue buy/ sell busn. he is extremely conscientious and pays attention to every last detail. He takes beautiful pictures and will show the buyer any and all flaws. He has a return policy, and a lay away plan as some advantages vs. an individual can offer. He has sold several of my cues and it has been a pleasure for me . I do understand seeing one person with 10 individual post selling cues and they themselves should realize how crappy that is. I Don't know if that can be policed or not.
 
Dean is correct. in the long run buying from dealers is better, get stung once by an individual seller, there goes all the savings.
