I have a nice old green label. Beautiful cue and a good shooter.

This is mine next to my Huebler. Don't know the model, but I think it is from about 1980. The joint collar is not stainless or brass, it is metal though. Kind of a bronze looking metal. The pin is brass, 18 thread. Pristine condition. The wrap is amazing.

Love the cue. :grin-square:

Nice looking cue Doc. Mine in a plain Jane ( no points ) and it does have the brass joint and 18 pin.
Thanks- I have a silver label plain jane as well. Green stain, green with black spec linen, and a 3/8x10 pin. The quality difference between my plain later cue and my earlier one is tremendous. I sure do like the green labels. I think that was really the heyday for Mali.

These old Mali's play pretty good and were well made for production cue but I will take an old ADAM from Helmstetter / Japan factory any day.
Thanks for posting catalog. By chance you have original price list. Love those old price lists.
Best,
-Kat,
I was going to put a 3/8 x10 pin and make a shaft for it and turn it into a sleeper .
Really not that bad of shape IMO
I've had this Mali for 30 years and still love it. Don't use it much anymore as I've moved on but it still hits great.

Love that cue.
Really a classic example of the higher end Mali cues of that time.
Mine is more understated but still classy with veneers and simple MOP dot inlays.
