Promotional Pool Cues- and other obscure cue curiosities

The posting of the Fender pool cue got me thinking. That cue is a POS, of course, but some promotional or branded cues have been decent cues.

I am wondering what promo cues the members might be aware of that were made by "decent" US cue makers/companies.

I am aware of:

Huebler Clicks cues
McDermott Clicks cues
McDermott Budweiser cues
McDernott Camel Cues
Mali Marlboro cues (they don't say Marlboro on them but were available through the Marlboro catalog with "Marlboro miles")

Of course there are the Snap-On, Corvette, Harley, etc cues made by McDertmott but I am looking for info on the lesser known or more obscure examples of promo cues. The McDermotts are shown here: http://www.mcdermottcue.com/timecapsulehd.php

Conspicuous by their absence on the McDermott site are the Camel and Budweiser cues.

Of course, I am aware of things like the JOSS Brunswick cues, but I am really more curious about non-billiard related promotional cues.

There have been other cues with pool hall names on them but I can't think of the names at the moment. Interesting examples would be the Titlist cues stamped with pool hall names. Not really promo items but they are interesting obscurities.

As for an example of other obscure cue curiosities made by a "decent" maker, I am aware of a Cobra cue that was marked "By Schmelke" under the Cobra logo. Personally, I wish I had that cue. I have never seen another.

Anybody aware of examples of such cues or perhaps have one or two to talk about.

Well, there's the Meucci Ron Paul 2012 cue. It's pretty, uh, flashy.

Flashy, yeah. LOL!

But I think that was a one of? Not sure. But I do remember seeing pics of one.

Very interesting example. I am in fact more interested in obscure production runs, but such a cue does fit with the "promo cue" theme.

Before First Coast Billiards here in Jacksonville FL, closed down, the owner had a few of Smith and Wesson cues!

I think earlier thread had mentioned this. http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=23282

I actually got to see them and was tempted, but didnt want to spend the money. :-(

Yes! I remember those!

But were they imports or US made? I am not sure. I kind of thought they were imports.

I am more interested in those that are US made or perhaps Adam made if we extend the conversation to Asian cues.

I've seen Rolling Rock cues in a fancy set being sold locally. I believe it was claimed to be a 90s cue, so I'm guessing import, but I can't find any information on the maker online.

Good one.

It was a complete boxed set with chalk, cue ball, and some other things. Yes, they were "cheap" imports, I checked them out years ago. I don't remember the factory, but they were a "Taiwan cue".

Perhaps of interest to beer memorabilia collectors.

Well....it's not a cue but I found this interesting....one of the Big Three likes pool.

Eight cylinder, I believe

Indeed. There are promo pool balls, including entire sets.

The Camel pool balls come to mind as well.

There have been entire sets of NFL teams as well.

A bar owner called me to replace a missing 8-ball....I brought him one of these...

Do you have the McDermott Camel cue?

.

Mcdermott makes "superman" cues for dc comics.
I think the red is good looking.

That's cool. I don't think I have seen one of those.

Edit: On reflection I think I have seen them. I believe they are McDermott imports. Not sure though.
