Help Identifying Pool Cues

Idyllshire

Hi folks. I'm new here, so apologies if I'm posting this in the wrong area.

My father recently passed away. While going through some of his old things I found a set of pool cues in a case. They are used but appear to be in very good condition. I remember he played billiards in the 70s and 80s, so I'm guessing that's roughly how old they are.

I was wondering if anyone here could help me identify them, and tell me what (if anything) they could be worth?

Took a few pics here http://imgur.com/a/pZJ3r

Any help would be appreciated.

The maple colored cue is a Meucci MO-6 from the Meucci first catalog. Circa 1976-1977

Looks like a McDermott D-15 and a Meucci Original MO-6. Case is a 2x4 "It's George"

My estimate...
McDermott 250-300
Meucci 350-500
George case 200-250

Nice cues and case!

The one cue is a Meucci MO-6 with a 300.00 value if in good condition ( Minor Dings, Dents and must be straight).
The other cue is a McDermott i gonna say about 200.00 - 250.00 if in good condition. ( minor dings, dents and must be straight)

The case is a It's George worth about 200.00 if in good condition.

I think that Meucci can do better than three on a good day.

EDIT: I had this typed up sitting here for a while and didn't save the post. Saved it and saw I was a bit late. LOL! Oh well.....

Hi-

Welcome to the forum. And I am sorry for your loss.

These were probably the two most popular brands of cues at the end of the seventies through the eighties, and even into the nineties.

The McDermott is a D15 I believe. 1980's
