Nominate the worse thread posted in the main forum for 2016

Any of the JustinB questions should be on the list.
Very close to the top.

Justin is harmless. Poppa is an extremist. What must be happening inside his mind is a bit scary. This thread about ivory cues was the most ridiculous I have read on ANY forum. Clearly a radical dude and a big trouble maker.

Not a laughing matter

so basically the whole purpose of this thread is to laugh at someone's thread?

:confused::confused:

I'm just saying this is a possibility and not that it should be banned.

For the sake of argument...lets say I don't want to play you because of the ivory cue. I protest to the director that you may have something that was illegally purchased.

They will most likely side with me unless you can prove otherwise. There is still doubt and illegal contraband should not be allowed in sanctioned tournaments.

Again in this social climate I can see this happening.

I don't want it banned but I won't be surprised.

My words , I didn't find any of that funny , actually i felt it was a little threating to be honest .

Some one complaining to the tournament director that they might be offended if the person cues might have illegal ivory.

I don't find this funny at all .actually the thought of someone handling one of my cues without my permission is enough to start a fight with me .

Someone accusing me of a crime when I didn't is going to get there head knock off.
I go to tournaments to enjoy myself, play pool and hope I don't get my @ss handed to me.
Not to be questioned like we live in Germany during WW2.

I find offensive that anyone feels they have the right to do this crap at a pool tournament being held in America.

Without naming names....

Why not?..What has always amazed me, is how many horrible threads, (which make no sense at all) can come flowing from the minds (?) of our forum members!..The second strangest thing, is the fact that these are the threads that always seem to get the highest volume of views and replies!

Makes one wonder if ALL pool players, and pool nuts, are not mentally stuck in the 3rd grade and can't help but gravitate toward each other?..Because almost every day, there will be a "What kind of tip do you like best"? thread..Then, the very next day someone will start a new thread titled, "What type of tip do you prefer"?????

Its almost as if they don't comprehend the word..redundant! :embarrassed2: ..If they did, the incoherent babble/traffic would be reduced by 90%, and we would have more room for the sensible posts, like those of John Barton and Lou Figueroa! :p :p :p

Because of newbs and people don't like the search function. Many people also just want to buy a better game so they worry about each piece of equipment as if it makes some great difference on the larger whole.

It doesn't.

Not ever using search shows you the ones who are lazy imop.

Hell how any people do we give advice to as players and even aspiring repair or cue makers......they immideately just do what they want to do regardless lol

I already mentioned that if he pulls this crap on the wrong person, that person would probably be making inlays with his teeth:thumbup:
He has a serious mental problem

Wondering

no really, I have been wondering this for years....should tournaments ban the use of ivory cues, or not ? :grin-square::grin-square:

Yes , your mother already called the tournament director and told him you led a very sheltered life ......
