Not taking his side at all but yall must realize there is no upside for him to play anyone on AZ and almost definitely get all his future action killed ( which we all know would most likely happen correct? ) . Of in fact he is an action only player, which by the way I can totally relate, no good van come from accepting Internet challenges nor posting any of his conquests. Whether this guy can play or not who knows, but also who cares? Anyone with at least a little bit of sense that doesn't want to kill their action is not advertising on the net.
Unless you play above 700 in fargo speed there are quite a few league or apa players that would eat your lunch. To argue that is silly. Leagues are for the most part not my cup of tea but it doesnt change that fact.

I don't believe anyone is denying or contesting that point. I think what is being said is probably 95% of league players are like 250 Fargos that's all. And btw, that's OK too
Never played at Pool Paradise but was a regular at Tony's for years up until they got rid of the tables upstairs. I just stick to the break-room downtown kitchener and Frederick street when I feel like some snooker.

Wow. The last time I played at Tony's, there were still tables upstairs. If you talk with Shoeey or Paul Duell, they'll know me. Or Bruce (TAP operator). Most people who play around the area know me.
Kinda Funny, I was dating this " pool chic " that played pool like 4 or 5 nights a week . We were at this one bar and some league guy started talking sheet to me and I took a knot out of my pocket and threw it on the table and told the guy PUT UP AND GET UP OR SHUT UP. I had no rubber so pretty much the whole table was blanketed with money. OF course, he DID NOTHING, EXCEPT shut up of course. Unfortunately for her though, for some reason she was disqualified and thrown out for gambling offense??? I truly didn't care because 4 or 5 times a week IS WAYYYY TOO MUCH league for any normal person and I couldn't stand that bar anyway lol.
I know Bruce, and have played against Paul and company in masters tournaments and travelled to nationals with them (they were representing Guelph Multiple years in a row and we won the KW multiple years in a row too)
I was actually asked to start a tap league in Stratford for Bruce a few years back but I had already committed to Gord in running a cpa franchise instead.
There's some pretty solid players that play these "patch leagues". Guys like Jody Matheson, Davey Johnson, Paul Deull, Rob Brandenburg etc. List goes on. Don't think this guy realizes that just in our small area there's multiple people I'd back playing him regardless of his apparent speed.

I was going to mention that you should set our friend up with a match against Jody, Rob or DJ. Strickland got the short end of two matches against DJ. Once saw him break and run a set for $1k. And he has played in the CPA
I think Gary Abood was an APA member. Maybe player should step in the box with him and spot him the 7 out.
