Bergman vs Mora for 50k who ya like!

When does Mark's (CSI) poolroom suppose to open and is he on board with this match at his new room? Johnnyt

Money for what exactly? To bet that Morra does not take longer then 30 seconds (on average) to shoot each of his shots? Yes, I would bet the little money that I have on that.

Maybe some pool fans just do not like John Morra for some reason, so they make up excuses in their mind (that may not be true), about why they do not like to watch him play.

No, for the match. I'll take Berg even. Also make it a little fun - male it two part : First to 25 and overall. I'll either do the race to 25 for 25% of the whole OR separate prop.

I don't think any of you guys understand how good JM is..

He has the complete package compared to Iceberg.
The break, the runouts, the focus, the talent, the everything.

I think Iceberg is a 30 percent underdog.

Really? I'll take Bergman +130 then

Crickets, right?

Oh, okay, I just assumed you were referring to the argument about how slow Morra plays. In tournament play, I think Morra might win more times then not, but I do not know about gambling. I wonder how many times the 2 players have competed in the past (in tournaments), and if they have ever gambled.

Idk either and honestly I really don't know too too much about Morra but my opinion is Justin is more of a gambler and Morra a tourney hack. I could be off base but that's just my opinion.

Morra gambles a ton too. After his US Open 9b matches, he's over Q-Masters gambling big.

Bergman is "fearless" and full of cocky swag, but yet again asks for the 9 ball to be spotted there, the 10 ball there, he wants a shot clock and not to go to the toilet at all. I know well these "players" and what they're full of.

First of all - Justin didn't ask for anything out of the ordinary. I must be living in a cave cause I have never heard of 10 ball being played with the 10 ball on the spot AS MORRA REQUESTED. Beyond that, the shot clock reply Justin gave was only in response to other posters stating that both of these players are deliberate and the match would take a long time. Justin simply said he wouldn't be opposed to a shot clock. I don't see where he ever said he wanted it.

You can love your man Morra but if you are going to post something, please do it with intelligence and some basis.

Both of these players play the game with respect -- for the game and their opponent. No reason for you or anyone else to try to make it seem otherwise.

The room is open and Justin only mentioned Mark's room cause he thought a good time to have the match was after the US Bar Table championships. Justin didn't realize that Mark moved these events to December in 2017 (in previous years, these tourneys were held as early as May) so yes the match could still happen in Mark's room but I think both players would rather play sooner than later.

To end, I think this would be a great match. 8 years is too long for these two great players not to have mixed it up again. Let's hope they can work it out.

Bergman vs Morra

I would pick Morra because his mental toughness is a little better and is less likely to blow up. This is based on the FEW matches I have seen.

Griff's is very interested in holding this event.
We have a new set of 4-1/4 rails coming soon. Also a set of 4-1/8 pockets.

We have had some preliminary discussions and I think the event should happen fairly soon - like January or February. Obviously that is up top the players. The Derby is Jan 20-30 (I think).

Might be too soon to be before the Derby - so maybe a week or two after the Derby. We do have some events scheduled so we might have to work around our schedule.

Get he player to agree on all the terms and we can handle the rest in a day or two.

Mark Griffin..
