He was a very strong player out of the MD/VA area. Back in the 90s and early 2000s he could be found gambling for big $$$, sometimes with Danny Green at various rooms.

What happened to him?

I heard he and randy s were playing some mid/ hi dollar 1p in va a few years ago.

There may have been mention of it here.

He was solid and a good guy t play. No bs, ya know?

He quit his job as a beer truck driver & married a woman who owned a pool hall. That didn't work out & he divorced & remarried another woman who made him get a job again. He's driving some other kind of truck now & still gets out to play 1 pocket now and again. A really strong player.

Down on the southern end of MD, right?

What is the pool scene like on tha side of the creek?

Chris was playing some 9ball a few years ago (time flies) maybe 5 years ago give or take in fast eddies Alexandria , and more recently (still a few years ago) in fast eddies Springfield. He was hitting them pretty good against some serious talent.

His stroke was amongst the smoothest I have ever seen.!

Truly sad really. The only place with big tracks is Hard Times & they are the most bizarre playing tables I've ever played on. I venture north to the Hat to play.

There is a hard times in Fredericksburg that has some really weird diamonds too. Like the bed speed is 1/2 normal, but there rails are 3x faster.

I remember years ago my buddy and I had a few rooms we'd hit off the highway and down toward Waldorf. Seems there was a room every 5-10 mi down there, all of the main road (rt5?).

Must have been awhile ago 10+ years. I can only remember 1 pool room down there going that far back??

Definitely way more than 10 yr ago.

By any chance do my a remember the restaurant that had all those slot machines everywhere ( before casino were legalized )? Supposedly they had been " grandfathered in and the only place in MD allowed to have them

Naw. Not my kind of scene, so it prob wouldn't have been anything of note to me, if I saw it anyway.
