He was a very strong player out of the MD/VA area. Back in the 90s and early 2000s he could be found gambling for big $$$, sometimes with Danny Green at various rooms.
What happened to him?

He quit his job as a beer truck driver & married a woman who owned a pool hall. That didn't work out & he divorced & remarried another woman who made him get a job again. He's driving some other kind of truck now & still gets out to play 1 pocket now and again. A really strong player.

What is the pool scene like on tha side of the creek?
Truly sad really. The only place with big tracks is Hard Times & they are the most bizarre playing tables I've ever played on. I venture north to the Hat to play.
I retired him
There is a hard times in Fredericksburg that has some really weird diamonds too. Like the bed speed is 1/2 normal, but there rails are 3x faster.
I remember years ago my buddy and I had a few rooms we'd hit off the highway and down toward Waldorf. Seems there was a room every 5-10 mi down there, all of the main road (rt5?).
Must have been awhile ago 10+ years. I can only remember 1 pool room down there going that far back??
Definitely way more than 10 yr ago.
By any chance do my a remember the restaurant that had all those slot machines everywhere ( before casino were legalized )? Supposedly they had been " grandfathered in and the only place in MD allowed to have them
