Stan's Curious Curtain Video

OK, what kind of speed you talking about?

The visual alignment is for center pocket for a center ball hit, so yes on some strokes i adjust.

Yes i look at edges. You can focus on OB or CB for your last stroke. IMO it is a matter of what you are comfortable with.

Haven't had a personal lesson in a while but have been given all the updates so yes i believe i am using it as Stan teaches it.

He teaches many things in his private lessons, hence the word private.

So produce a video, i haven't found one. And don't forget to point out the many uses of his foot positions.

Hmmm, you have been given all the updates.....

I guess that all of his customers who have bought the dvd's have not been given all the updates.

I know, it's part of his "customer service".....

You have an open offer, all you need to do is visit Florida.
And i did finish 9-12 in the us amateur in 2015.

PS there are some very good players using CTE, you just don't know it.

Don't care who uses it.

Watch the MC, that's how you approach potting balls.

Cameras are cheap, not hard to get a video of your playing or your curtain skills up on YouTube...anything that proves your more then a pro1 bully.

Won't happen , you're a chicken sh!t.

I forgot to ask you:

If you got all the updates, do you know that every shot goes with both pivots (inside and outside) ???? Or this will be the FINAL UPDATE ???????

So you've never won anything?

What have you done?
I have many videos on YouTube and what I've accomplished is none of your business.
Pool isn't hard to figure out and once you get it down, its easy to spot people like you. A wanna be.

Just like cookie, you give your 2 cents of BS, bully people who question Stans videos but yet show nothing that presents a case of you knowing anything about pool or pro1.

Not even a local handicapped tournament?

You can always tell who the internet loser is, the guy hurling insults from the keyboard.

PS pro1 bully? I'm not trying to get anyone to use it. I hope you don't in fact. You are one of the ones trying to force your opinion on people.

Not aware of this update. When did Stan put this one out?

By the way, where is the Busty video showing all his fancy footwork to make the balls go in

I just thought I'd point out some things. When stan says visual intelligence he's talking about our ability to read the angle. If our visual intelligence is good then we should know exactly where to hit the object ball.

Problem is it's hard to hit angles close to 15 degrees because it's between the edge and center ball. It's hard to hit angles close to 60 degrees because it's far from the edge and there's no reference of aim. This is where initial alignment is useful. Start at a known angle and pivot TIL IT LOOKS RIGHT according to your visual intelligence.

Some people use their shaft has a reference instead of pivoting (SVB). Some people use touch of inside. Some people use rifle aiming.

In the end we are all shooting the SAME shot. How we get there is our own preference. Now I capitalized TIL IT LOOKS RIGHT because sometimes our initial visuals could be wrong. Sometimes it's just hard to judge an angle (back cuts).

All in all I say keep an open mind and just take whatever is useful for you and discard whatever you don't want to keep. But keep in mind that you might be surprised of the aiming concepts you discarded ended up opening your eyes.

Man, I am not the Bustamante wannabe. You and your friends think they know how he plays. And they make videos. Youtube is full of Busty's videos.

It's footwork that is used to cut the ball thick or thin. And different footwork for different speeds.

The pivot is not used to cut the ball thick or thin. It is used to spin - swerve your cue ball.
So, when you play the outside pivot you put touch of inside to the cue ball. And when you play the inside pivot you put touch of outside to the cue ball. You don't pay attention to your cue ball to see how it reacts after contact.

That's why you only play your cue ball from one side.

And that's why you don't know how to place your left foot for the outside and the inside (different left foot position for the same cut).

You just play by feel.

Can you answer the following question ?
You play a 5 degree cut to the right at cb-ob distance 5 diamonds. Tell me your visuals and pivot you use to make the shot.

I see you haven't learned anything about the CTE pivots. You still think they apply english to the cb. Despite Stan himself telling you that you are wrong about that.

Can you apply english with a pivot? Yes. Does using a pivot mean that you applied english? NO! But, in your mind, you can't separate the two. Which is where part of your problem lies.

Still waiting for Cookie's answer.

Of course I can. But, the real question is why, when you claim to know so much about CTE, and it's failings, why you would not know that answer yourself? And, why you think it has any bearing at all on pivoting?

You see, what you fail to understand, is that after one pivots in CTE, the cue is now 90 degrees to the cb, and is lined up straight down the actual shot line.
