Earlier this year was an interview with Mosconi Cup Team USA captain, Johan Ruijsink.

In this extended interview, the Dutchman discussed:

As an American, I have zero problems with the new captain. Let's keep an open mind and see where it takes us. Pretty excited to see where we go with the new leadership.

My thoughts are how much time he is going to be able to spend with the team members, when the team members have not been chosen yet. I guess time will tell how that develops.

What will be really telling, though, is how Team USA members work together in Vegas during the event, on and off the field, so to speak. That is what I think is sorely missing in past Cups. If they can work together, eat together, practice together, and stay together on all days while the Cup is in progress, I believe this will help immensely.
 
No problem with a Dutch manager by me, in the same sense I have no problem with a German managing our national soccer team for several years. The Euros are simply better at pool at the moment and (of course) the Germans are way better than us at soccer.
