Unreal Ko and Shaw played their whole match and not one single ball was made on the break from either player.

That Rasson table has 4inch pockets and is breaking super tough.

Are those modified subrails or did they just stack a bunch of facings together to tighten the pockets?
It looks like those pockets wouldnt play right.

Any mechanics on line?
Is Glen still banned?

Thanks for the links and the heads up, Spartan.
I totally forgot about all this.

Probably just an aberration, unlikely to be repeated. At the 3rd WPS event in July, they used the same make of table, the same pocket size, and the same break boxes. 47% of the breaks in the streamed matches were successful.

How about Frankie Hernandez....pumps Billy Thorpe 9-5 second round.

No SVB?? Don't think he entered any of these 8ball events.

68 players? Seems less and less each event. Field does seem super strong though.

Yeah I think you're right. Shane hasn't played in any of them nor have a lot of American players. (Edited to Add): Shane's grandmother also recently passed per his posts on social media so he likely has more important things to attend to this week.

I'm just speculating as to why American players aren't entering the event given it's stature, good rule set, good money, etc, but I have a feeling it has a lot to do with the location. It's awfully expensive to travel and stay in NYC for a week when you don't have sponsors or a national government to foot the bill. It's really a shame because I think Darren's tournaments have been awesome from the perspective of someone who loves pool. I like the style and rules of 8 ball they are using. I like the challenging equipment. I like the streaming on facebook live.

If anyone has found a live stream to today's matches, could you please post the link. Since they got away from the PPV and went with the UNILAD/Facebook approach starting with the 2nd tournament, this has been a complete cluster f&*k. Lack of outrage further indicates the apparent fading interest in this series.
