I was concerned after Dave's passing that all of the episodes he produced for American Billiard Radio would be lost. I contacted his hosting company and explained the issue and asked if there was any way I could help keep the site online. I got nowhere with them, so I expect the website will go down before too long.

With that in mind, I have downloaded all of the episodes from American Billiard Radio and launched a new site where they can be found. I also posted all of the old Runout Radio Episodes there. I am still tweaking some things on the site, but you can find it at www.poolpodcasts.com

It still feels kind of strange for it to be Thursday and not to be looking forward to listening to a new show tonight. It sure would be nice to have something new to listen to tonight...

At that url...

At 7pm MST

:)

Great idea to keep ABR episodes available for everyone to enjoy

Many people will appreciate what you are doing

Thank you

Superman saves the day again!
Can we make that a "Sticky" or whatever you call the threads we save? Or even give it it's own listing in the Main Category.

Hmm, have to think on that idea.

You know Jay, if the show were to stay alive with someone else at the helm, they would expect you to be a regular guest.

Awesome, thank you. I'm curious if anyone knows the future of the Chicago billiards museum?

I don't believe any of his family is showing much interest in his affairs, so the future of the museum is not looking good.

It would be cool if we could find someone to carry it on and crowd source the funds to buy all the memorabilia from his family.

That's a shame about David's collection, and his website that seems to be gone. A tremendous hit to the history of the game that most of us had assumed would always be there. I am sure some of Mr.Bonds work is archived here and on his Facebook page so there is that.

Thanks Mike for doing what you did to save Bond's work.

Already? That is really sad. It's like whoever was cleaning up loose ends had an active dislike for billiards.

Yes or so it seems Bob. There is a web link on Mr. Bond's FB page and it does not work. Lets hope his FB password is not known to the loose end cleaners.

I have no idea what Dave has in the way of billiard memorabilia but perhaps Bob Jewett and I could preserve it. Perhaps you could find out what they have (even some pics would be helpful) and if they would like someone to take it off their hands.

I was a guest on Dave's show one time and very much enjoyed the conversation we had. I think we talked for thirty minutes.

My understanding is that many of the items were on loan. That complicates things.

Thanks Mike, I would have been a great loss not to have those interviews.
I looked forward every week to the show and miss it.
