...

A+++ on your questions. Time will vary depending on build. Maybe, maybe 6 weeks at most. I would have nothing else but a JB!

quit stalling
JB is the leader in the field
his cases are well designed and quality

It took forever and a day to get my case. But... Totally worth it. It's beautiful and I get compliments all the time. Very happy with my JB Purchase.

I simply bought a case "ready to ship". No wait. I'd buy another but currently have 4. If I buy more my wife said she will take them and leave,
I will miss those cases if she does.

I did a custom case with JB and it was a great experience. It was a faster turnaround than I anticipated which was cool too. I also bought a Hustler style case that has become my go to case. I love it. He is a quality businessman. Can't recommend enough.

Hi fellas!
I am considering a new custom case, I have set my eyes on JB cases as I like a case design studio on their website which gives me freedom to create one/experiement and their prices seem quite reasonable. I would like to hear from members here what can I expect in terms of communication, quality of the materials/build and how much time JB cases need to build a new case from the moment of ordering one.
Thx ;)

Marek,

Where do you live? JB will be at Super Billiards Expo outside Philly in April. They always bring a wide assortment of cases to the show.

I've had JB make me two cases. The build quality is awesome. It may take some time to get your case but the wait will be worth it. Do you need cue protection to this level? Want to take that chance with your babies?

I did that too, I was in the process of designing my own case but then saw this one that was in stock. It was just so gorgeous I discarded my design and ordered that one!

Build quality is the best you'll even find. Contact over mail with Karen was pleasant, everything got shipped quickly - still took a month to get it to Holland though, but that's not JB's or Karen's fault of course.

Unfortunately John don’t get on AZB much any more or he’d be able to give you all the info you need on his brand of cases.

His crew will be able to help you out in just about any of your case needs.
If you do a custom order.... the wait is worth it.

SBE is "bit" too far for me as I live in the heart of Europe but it is ok for me as I watched some of the vids from John on youtube so I have the idea what his cases look like ;) Anyways I can already say by the replies I got here so far that JB Cases have strong following and apparently their cases are of very good quality  Thats enough for me to conclude it is safe to go for one of their "babies" :D;) Thx Azb, I will contact John as soon as I will be ready to pull the trigger on my final design ;)

Having never played in an European event, I'm not sure how many times you might take your case on and off your shoulder during an event. Play many events across America where I might be required to play from 9 AM through Midnight (or later). Found the "back pack" option a great way to know where your case is at all times. Very comfortable for long term use. Both my cases are set up in that manner.

I have two that will arrive today or tomorrow and will post pics. As for communication, I don’t know if any cue or case maker that’s better. When my cases were complete, ahead of schedule, Karen text me with pics before shipping them out that day. Just to make sure everything was correct. I have had John do repair work in the past and he is very accommodating. JB cases are an absolute no brainer.

I've had an ultimate rugged 4x6 case for about 3 years now. Although it was an off the shelf buy and not custom - it has held up well and I'm not easy on stuff! It shows very little wear and all the zips work like new. The interior has held up well too, JB would be my choice if I decide to get another.

I just bought a new rugged case, so not custom, but my experience was great. I love my new understated black with white stitching case (all the bells and whistles included and with a back pack strap). He makes the best cases IMO and I've owned all kinds. Some may be fancier but none will protect your cues better. Can't go wrong.

I had a custom 3x6 Mason style case made, took about 6 weeks...awesome communication with Karen, sent me update photos throughout the build. Would have been sooner, but John didn't like one of the pockets and had them start it all over. Best case I've ever owned, it's awesome!

I like the backpack straps for big events Like the BCA and I prefer the normal over the shoulder single strap for everyday use in and out of Bars or Poolrooms. So I have one of each ;)

Do it. It took longer than i was told but it was well worth the wait. I get compliments and questions on it all the time. I have had 3 teammates get one. No saying how many people i have played in tournaments who went on to buy one also.

My son just puts the single shoulder strap across his chest side-ways and it acts like a backpack strap, although you need to maneuver your head and shoulder in.
