US Open 9 Ball - Hey Brady Behrman

I'm hoping this is simply a case of trying to get a better deal economically so that the event is more financially sustainable.

Pat should just run his own tournament, and call it the "American Open" and charge 1k per head, limited to 132 players, and build it back up. I'd bet he would fill it in 3 years time, and have the added money the same as it was before in 3 years time.
I kinda like the ring of " America's Biggest Badass 9ball Open". Ever.

Why?

Said organizer has this interesting habit of entering rooms of other players (female players to be more precise..) by obtaining means to open locked doors...:confused::oink:

You missed:
1. 80 min ceremony on final day while players go cold
2. Niece of Third Cousin sings National Anthem while brother taps and doves (really pigeons) are released and poop on table
3. Followed by cheap champagne and 60 minute tribute to Barry

And don't forget the "Scootish" bagpipers who looked like refugees from one of Letterman's Stupid Pet Tricks. All it needed to drag out any longer was to have the two finalists readjust their gloves after each shot, a la Derek Jeter.

Yeah, whoever does take over this otherwise wonderful event might want to consider scrapping some of those final day trimmings.

Wasn't this the first event since he died? If so i'd give them some leeway for all the hoopla and celebrating his life. Really hope this event grabs another gear and gets better.

Went and checked and this was second event after his passing. Probably time to move on. Maybe just have a nice, simple moment of silence. Kinda resembled a bad circus act and that's not good for anyone or the event.

I'm Greek. I'm not sure he wants to slip into my bed.

No problem at all for me if they don't have it at the Sheraton as I was rather fond of the Chesapeake venue.

Those Bagpipers were from the Sheriff's dept. Soon after Barry stopped hiring them, he was arrested.

Barry(RIP) or Brady, whats the diff they're all family!
Haha
....
The Sheraton was a great venue!
Wake up and elevator down.
Watch great pool.
Bar at the dinner break. Bar after evening matches finished.
Elevator up. Sleep. Repeat!!

Either that's in the Department of Truth is Stranger Than Fiction, or it's a great comeback line. In any event give yourself a Gold Star (or a Golden Cue) for coming up with it.

I guess not making money for the effort put into it wouldn't have much to do with it.

There's so many people here that can do better I can't believe they don't do it.

More and more people seem to spend the whole day in Fantasy Land .
I blame the internet , because, I don't think some people, can differentiate, when they are live, or incognito.
The strangest part for me , is that I think most of them truly believe, they are capable of what they say.

Thank you, I wouldn't know how to make that event successful without some heavy sponsorship, which I believe Pat is capable of getting. I suspect the real problem lies there somehow. Pat puts the whole thing together, comes up with the sponsor money and then is expected to split the income with the Behrman's afterwards for using their U.S. Open name. Just call this an educated guess.
